This hotel is my favorite in the whole Latvia as of now. Have stayed there every year since 2023. Everything is so clean, neat and comfortable! The breakfast food is literally amazing! This year i came in after a health emergency and had limited eating options but the hotel had everything that i could easily eat and it was very tasty! The staff is super helpful as well! The location for my conventions is amazing, and oh, the views through the windows? Insane!

The accommodation reasonably met our needs for a short stopover during our road trip, as we weren’t looking for a city center location.

The hotel heavily advertises good customer service, but we saw no sign of it. The receptionist was very unfriendly and showed no interest in assisting us. She didn’t make eye contact, didn’t greet us, and I had to ask multiple times whether our accessibility needs had been taken into account. When I asked more directly, she responded with a cold and irritated “yes?” — which felt very dismissive. The parking system, which involves codes and paper slips, feels outdated and unnecessarily complicated. A more modern solution would be highly recommended. In the room with separate beds, the beds could have been wider for better comfort. The bathroom had clearly seen better days and could use an update.

The suite is a good size, well equipped, with a safe, decent storage space, nice sofa and chairs, tv, etc. The breakfast was quite tasty, and they kept the serving dishes well topped up. Friendly staff, i do genuinely believe they try their best. The hotel location is perfect for bus 22 which goes both to the airport and to the city. Wifi was ok, not super quick but good enough. Good selection of helpful things such as toothbrushes, beauty kit etc. in the bathroom. Easy to check in and check out, overall we enjoyed the stay and i would stay there again.

The minibar-fridge in the room makes a loud noise when cooling down. I could hear also the elevators, or some similar whirring sound which was sporadic (seemed like elevator to me). Bring your earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. There was an issue with hot water at 2300 leaving me needing to shower in cold water for about 30 seconds before it finally came back. Room furniture is quite dated, it seems almost like furniture from the early 2000s, practical, but a few knocks here and there but overall reflected in the price. Breakfast overall good but "orange juice" not orange juice but orange "drink" - ghastly. Wifi passwordless and unencrypted, recommend to enable VPN.

Descent hotel with a good architecture. Rooms are good enough for short stays. Make sure to get the minibar unlocked if you intend to use it. Getting in and out is easy. There is 24/7 gas station next to the hotel with pretty much everything you need, including even wraps and burgers. It is a good compromise to be close to both the city center and the airport. Generally you can find a Bolt taxi for less than 10€ for both directions. You can park in the street but sometimes it might be a hassle to find available parking place but don't worry the hotel offers outdoor parking place for only 5€ per day. I love their complementary water and slippers.. Breakfast is good enough to ensure you are ready for the day.

Not the first time.. Somehow they couldnt resolve the problem with their baths. The inclination of the tile surface is wrong, water collects on the other side of drainage and there is no way to drain it. Next time you have to start with that water from your previous shower. Or if you are lucky enough you will just have some leaks

Hotel is really good, stayed here before. Staff is great. Not far from the city centre and the airport. Small supermarket and pharmacy nearby, 24/7 petrol station offering hot food just round the corner. Large shopping centre under 15 minute walk. Free public parking places next to the hotel. Spacious rooms. Noise from neighbouring rooms might be an issue, it mainly comes through the ventilation ports but I've experienced this just once. Easily sorted by moving to the other floor and quiter room, staff was more than helpful. Restaurant opening times are limited but this was the case during low season stay in March, I believe. Overall, great value. Highly recommend

The reception lady was very very very nice. She said to say this in my review :). We were happy with room, breakfast enz.

One little thing, but this was also my own fault. All lights in the hotel, and hotelroom are LED. But the mirror light not. This is still halogene, so its gets very hot. I throwed a towel over it so my wife has a softer light during bathtime. The towel didnt like this and got burned. Luckily I noticed it faster than the smoke detector. Sorry rixwell for the burned towel :). But maybe an idea the change theses lights also to LED.

Most of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to find solutions to any issues that arose during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. There was an iron available in the room (a big plus). The breakfast selection was decent—not too wide, but acceptable for a short stay. The hotel's location is excellent, with everything you need just a short distance away.

The biggest disappointment was the clock above the reception displaying Moscow time. Seriously?

I had a wonderful experience at Rixwell Elefant Hotel! The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety, making for a great start to the day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist. The hotel is perfect for families with babies as the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily and the common areas were always neat. The hotel's location is convenient with many attractions and transportation options nearby. The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly during my stay. The value for the price paid was exceptional, offering a lot for what you get.

The only downside was the expensive parking for cars. It was a disappointment as I was hoping for a more affordable solution. Despite this, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and excellent service.

The staff in the lobby really nice and helpful. My room was clean. If you need to have your room cleaned you should put a label on the door handle. That was great- nobody disturbed us as we slept long hours. The breakfast was really good. I give them a strong 4 out of 5 👍🏻

the coffee served with the breakfast- unfortunately not good because of powder milk in the coffee mashine. So, coffee lovers- watch out 😉 Also, I heard noises from both rooms right next to ours.

Staying on Elephant Rixwel Hotel Was Quite Nice. Room was comfortable and nice,but it number ofc was clean,and most of all i liked Administration on shift and Staff members. Sweeden table was Good. Breakfest was nice and all on total Rates was good . .

Room was prepaired nice,but strange thing was,it didnt was like Superior Number all its included cause ,one of Superior requests is sound low isolation into Number and Coffe machine inside into Number,also it didnt was on Hightest Floor as it was requested and some many things wasnt as Superior number must be .
