Breakfast was good, big rooms, was warm. I should say room was expensive for all the facilities and for the criminal area location. For 100 euros in couple of days I found great accommodation with great facilities in the center of Riga for the 115 euros. So I am sure 100 euros for this hotel is very, very expensive.

Very rude lady on reception. Elevator works strange (not old, looks very modern), when you click the button to go down, lift is going up to pick up other guests from the upper floors, when you try to call it from the bottom level it flying around different levels and it takes time to reach you (it is only 5 floors in the building). Shower room a bit old. Locals said to me that this area is not calm one, we realized that when in the morning saw already drunk people and a lot of fresh blood on the ground, broken alcoholic glass bottles on the ground close to the hotel.

The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the market, where there are many different places to eat and drink. There are also public transport stops and a shop nearby. The hotel is simple but cosy. There is a lift, which makes it easier to get to and from your room. Breakfast is not extensive, but tasty and filling. In the inner courtyard you can easily find a parking space, the courtyard is closed.

The room is nice, but there are some details that need to be updated. It is a pity that there was no fridge in the room - it was very much needed. The pillows are very thin. Even with two pillows, the head is practically barely elevated.

It was a great place to stay in general. Good points other than the room (it was good): - there were parking spots if needed - the place was next to a supermarket to be able to make quick shopping - there were different restaurants around to eat - the breakfast was good (milk, tea, coffee, bread, viennoiserie, eggs, cereal, cooked meats, potatoes, fruits

It was missing on description but be careful on soap, there was nothing in the the bathroom. It can be surprising when you are used to have it every time. Like mentioned on the title, you will need to walk if you want to venture in the city center without taking bus or tram.

The staff was really friendly and very helpful. They helped me with questions about getting around the city and provided helpful tips. On my last day they even made me a packed breakfast for 4am which included a whole spread and was going very much above and beyond. Really grateful for their hospitality:)

The walls are quite thin but it mostly wasn’t a problem as people usually adhere to quiet hours.

Price was very reasonable compared to some other options nearby. Staff were polite and available when we needed them. Close to bus stop and tram stop, has a market nearby with good options to buy stuff and get food/drinks.

The bathroom didn't provide any shower gel/shampoo. It was clean, but a bit older. Only has a bath, no walk-in shower. The marketplace nearby had live outdoor music, so if you are an early sleeper that might be an issue for you.

We used Riga as central point for traveling around the area, so the location did not matter much, we just needed breakfast and place to park the car, this was successful. For breakfast they had buffet Even though parking was quite tight we always found a place. The place allows guests with dogs (probably the only place in Riga), so there were many people with all kind of dogs, even though we are without dogs this was quite nice seeing them.

The breakfast room was overcrowded, so had to wait for a table to be free.

The hotel has a parking area where you can park your car for free, which is an excellent thing in Riga. We were greeted by a helpful staff member who gave us all the information that we needed. The rooms have a classic style that may feel dated to some, but they are well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfy, and the pillows were just right. And I can definitely agree with other reviews - breakfast is exceptional. At first glimpse, you will see a typical hotel breakfast serving, but it has a chef's personal touch, which you can feel in taste. The omelet is made from real eggs, the coffee is strong, and everything is fresh. Another significant advantage of the hotel is that it is next to the trendy Agenskalns market, where you can shop for local goods and have a nice dinner.

Good budget-friendly hotel for a few nights in Riga area. Room was basic but had all the amenities needed. Comfortable bed and large bathroom with shower/bath. Breakfast was good, nice selection of pastries and hot food.

Located about 30mins walk from Riga Old Town, however plenty of public transport/rental scooter options available nearby. Soundproofing in the room wasn't great, not a problem for me but may bother other guests.
