"tired 4*" hotel. Bath curtain and towel had some small spots (not dirty, but maybe it's time to change those to new ones). Basically, small renovation would be good No slippers Friendly receptionist but somehow he didn't tell breakfast time and location and we forgot to ask. Found that info in booking.com though

One of the hotels most visited by groups of travellers. Big rooms with all amenities available, good breakfast with plenty of choices. Reception was quick and helpful even if the hotel was crowded. At a walking distance from the city center. There is a shopping center right near the hotel. Has a restaurant with a view at the last floor. very good value for money.

Noisy tourists on the same floor in the first night, luckily they were gone in the second day. Towels were not changed in the last day although we placed them in the tub.

A great location, especially if you come by car, but the old town is within walking distance and the walk across the river is nice if the weather is good; also, a shopping center is close to the hotel. Breakfast is great, wifi is fine, and parking is free.

This is not exactly a 5-star hotel, but for this price, you should not expect a palace or anything like that. If the weather is very bad, then walking to the old town is not that pleasant as the river is wide and the bridge can get muddy.

We stayed for my birthday (as well as the event in Ramava for work). I kindly asked for a room in higher floor, but we got one on 3rd... Breakfast was really nice though, a lot to choose from. The restaurant at the top floor closes at 23:00.. on Saturday.. and there was a lot of people staying in the hotel, so everybody was crowding the bar at the first floor, where it was cold because of the rotating entrance door and limited space. There is no public pool/sauna time for guests (for a fee or included in a room price), you have to order that for your group only so price is steep, probably meant for bigger events and groups only. Room was ok.

Only problem was with hot water pressure, it was too low and clogged shower drain. Gym on the 9 th floor with many sports equipment, water and tv. Gym could be cleaner. Everything else was fine.

If I would want to give something to think about, I’d say that the mini-bar was filled with boring choices, I’d put something more interesting in the fridge. Like a local beer (labietis, malduguns or any other Latvian craft beer brewery), it would catch a much bigger attention, and tourists would have bigger interest to try the beer. Corona is plain boring, I wanted a beer when I was in my room, but when I saw corona, i thought that it is not worth the money. Also, chips wise - put the Long Chips in the variety, it will get the tourist attention, because we are one of the few countries that actually makes them

Breakfast was served on the ground floor and there were good options for everyone - from porridge to pastries to omlette to fresh fruit and veg.

The hotel is the best hotel if you are planning to go to a nearby expo center. It is just like ~3 minutes away by foot. The parking is free and you can leave the car for free at the hotel. There's a simple 9th-floor restaurant at the hotel. It is a clean, white-table restaurant with pretty cheap cocktails and moderate food. The hotel is an older one, but the room was huge; it had a desk and was clean. Both shower and bath are available. Everything that you need. The hotel is also ~10-15 minutes away by the bridge from the city center, so you either get there by scooter or foot quickly. The breakfast are standard with everything included

There could be more cakes and cheese cakes that are not so dry at breakfast.

Really close to the city center, spacious room friendly staff and exceptionally good breakfast. :)
