We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riga Lux Apartments - Ernesta. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bathtub. The high ceilings and abundant storage space added to the overall comfort. While we didn't require much service during our stay, the assistance we did receive was excellent. The staff was incredibly responsive and clearly committed to ensuring we had a great holiday. For example, I forgot to request a baby chair when booking, but when I asked for one upon arrival, it was delivered within 30 minutes. The location was ideal—close to everything we wanted to explore in Riga, yet slightly removed from the busiest roads, which made it pleasantly quiet with minimal street noise. The apartment was also impeccably clean, which made us feel right at home. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and beautiful Riga itself is. Both the apartment and the city surpassed our expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If I visit Riga again, I will definitely check if this apartment is available. Highly recommended!

Stay was great, I was expecting to have small apartment as per photos, but I received two double bedroom apartment with huge living room, it really surprised me and I appreciate it as well, really warm apartment, which is important in this time of the year, and minimal stuff around which is good when u travel with 2 year old, it was super safe for her just run around the apartment, thank you

Beds were soft, not sure if it's bad or good lol, but I wasn't really getting good sleep, waking up several times, also not sure what detergent they use, but in the mornings I was super itchy... and I'm the only who had problem, my baby slept very well and mu brother in the other room didn't have any issues...

Check in was fine with help with luggage up the stairs as lift only goes up 1 floor. Very clean facilities. Kitchen well equipped.

Apartment lacking style. Bedrooms very large with an over abundance of wardrobe space. Shower curtain is not acceptable in 2025. Such a lack of design with a shower over the bath and the bath surface being a slipping hazard. Car parking was an issue initially but was offered a spot in the courtyard 2 days later which was much appreciated.. Overall an ok stay but not a homely feel to this apartment.

This is an excellent department and we really loved our stay. The customer service from the outset was superb with excellent communication from the time of booking to the time of departure. We did have a question about how the oven worked and this was answered very promptly. The apartment is extremely comfortable high ceilings, lots of space, large rooms which area nicely decorated and the whole apartment is really well equipped throughout. The apartment building was quiet. The kitchen facilities are excellent and it has everything you could possibly need. I was very pleased and impressed that the number of dishwasher tablets we would need for the duration of our stay were provided. This doesn’t happen in most apartments at all so it is very thoughtful and intuitive of the apartment providers to have this in place. Even in umbrella was available but we were very fortunate that the weather was beautiful in September. Access to the old town was quite easy, not too long of a walk 10 to 12 minutes to the RIMI supermarket centre at Origo Shopping Centre and to the main railway station. Comparing this apartment to other places we’ve stayed at in Europe and elsewhere, this was by far and away the very best. Were were most impressed!

No issues or dislikes at all.

The apartment was well appointed. Everything you would need,dishes,kettle,microwave ,clothes washer and detergent provided ,etc. The staff responded immeditately when we couldn't get the TV working . It was a pleasant safe walk into old town. The parking was secure. Area restaurants available if you didn't want to walk to town. We would stay here again.

The apartments are set up in a way that the elevator does not come to the ground floor. You have to carry luggage up to a half or in our case full level.The staff who met us helped us with our luggage. It was not needed by us as weather was cool enough, but it only has a room fan no air conditioning.

Its pretty big apartment, so you dont feel compressed there. High ceiling makes your soul feel much better. Two balconies also gives more space. Not much view from them but not needed. Outside sounds doesnt come in and you can sleep in dead silence, well small sounds sometimes from neighbours arrives but not that much. Elevator also is there, so its handy. Old looking building with bricks inside gives you idea and history touch. TV in living room and bedroom is just extra. Good wifi, no interuptions and quite ok speed. Like 5 mins walk away from Origo. Option to park car in closed parking space is also great and safe.

It was a bit cold must say. Heating usually is turned on at specific date in all city, so it was a bit cold. Besides that its all good, but this thing its not like owner can do something, its the city fathers who makes decisions when to turn on heating.

Riga Lux is a beautifully renovated apartment with everything you need. We arrived late and didn't get to meet Ilze in person but the instructions and communication were flawless. The apartment itself was incredibly clean and very large. As a family of four we fit very comfortably. The location was not right in or immediately adjacent to Old Town, but it was very easy to get to the market and Old Town quickly either on foot or by calling a Bolt. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Riga and wanting easy access to all of the fun locations nearby.

Nothing.

When we arrived, the apartment did not match the description or expectations, and we would’ve been very disappointed at the top level flat. We were told that the photographs shown were cover photos and not all flats Looked like this. However, upon expressing disappointment they promptly moved us to the flat that was shown in the photographs and it was really lovely. So you have to be careful with what flat you believe you’re getting, but it was very nice in the end. The one we had had lots of natural light and balconies, which is exactly what we wanted to enjoy your breakfast and evening meals. Location is very easy for the shops, central station, and to walk to the central markets and the old town The kitchen facilities at the flat had everything you needed, including a washing machine and dryer. So for self catering, this was exactly what we wanted. It was also warm as heaters provided It was very quiet. You are not disturbed during the evening or in the morning, which was really lovely to have a relaxing experience. It was unfortunate for us that the beds were not very comfortable so we came home very tired. They did provide us with additional pillows in an attempt to help which was very much appreciated. So we should not be expecting hotel quality beds perhaps but this was the only complaint as everything else was truly lovely.

Uncomfortable bed

The flat is in a building where other flats are also managed by the same structure; the entrance is independent and totally autonomous. Spacious, bright flat, equipped with every necessity. Slightly soft mattress, but comfortable; large bed, good pillows. Acoustically well isolated. Kind and helpful staff. Possibility of autonomous check-in and check-out.

The only downside I could find is that it is slightly off-centre from the city centre, but it is only a few minutes' walk to the central areas.

The apartment is centrally located. Walking distance to all the touristic attractions. Friendly and attentive staff, very clean, all facilities provided to make the stay comfortable. I will recommend this apartment further.

My room was on the 1st floor, for someone with heavy luggages, you must use the staircase even if there is an elevator available.
