I thought the breakfast was expensive at 22 Euros and did not start until 8:00 a.m. The only cooked items were a mass of fried eggs and fatty bacon that were probably cooked off site. There was a lovely spread of fruit and cheese and breads, but no oatmeal or other hot choices. We were served one cup of coffee but not offered another and the water and juices were all self service.

Earlier breakfast. Refills on coffee. More service for drinks. More. Hoices of hot foods. Cost was too high sor what was offered and only one girl working. Toiletries were skimpy. This is a noisy property. They rented the breakfast room for a wedding reception that went on past midnight and we had the room directly above. They did compenser us for this, however. They have live music in the courtyard in the summer that you hear in the rooms. Not good for young kids. Does not go on past 9:00.

Loved the huge room (studio suite). Very comfortable bed and loved being able to open up the big windows onto the balcony. Very handy to have free washing machine and dryer on site. Liked the late checkout (noon) and extended breakfast hours (8-11am).

Choices at breakfast were a bit strange - not sure about spring rolls, fried shrimp and cold meats with cheese!

Nice rooms with soundproof windows, general hotel interior, quality breakfast, attentive & friendly staff

- no hotel parking, however understandable considering the location of the hotel - there are parking places available around the area, but only paid ones - fitness room needs actual equipment. An adjustable bench and couple of 15+ kg dumbbells would already do the job, as there are only weights up to 10kg and no bench at all

Room was spacious and with good view. Receptionist did the extra mile and made special surprise for our anniversary- bottle of prosecco in the fridge. We changed it for non alcoholic beverages.

Breakfast is not on the level with the rest of hotel. Waiter did try her best, but the food was not good. Each fork and plate was from separate collection and overall it felt below 2* hotel. Don't know what is the issue of providing better quality Breakfast

This hotel used to be the one of the TOP hotels in Riga and it is still great experience to stay there, especially due to comfort , location and unique surrounding area that hotel can offer. We got a very big room with great bed, corner view and small kitchen so stay was amazing. I would recommend for short or long stay when in Riga especially because of close proximity to multiple good restaurants and city center

The hotel is not maintained to the same high standards as it once was, with some furniture, especially at the reception, showing signs of wear. The staff service may not consistently meet the expectations of a five-star hotel.

Great location, set back from the main streets in an arcade that felt like a little village. Nice restaurants right on the doorstep. Walking distance from the old town, train station and main attractions. Room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was handy to prepare our own breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was no sponge or dishwashing detergent in the kitchenette for washing the dishes. Towels were replaced most days when we could have used them again. Some noise in the evening from the restaurants nearby.

This place completely exceeded our expectations. We booked a penthouse suite and the place was FABULOUS. We have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and this room/hotel was in that league. Beautiful furnishings and facilities. Very clean and very quiet. A two level suite with a spiral staircase and balconies on both levels. It is not a place with a busy restaurant or bar and is very quiet. We felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves (in a good way). It is not in the dead center of Riga (which is a good thing) but you can reach the tourist center with an easy 8-10 minute walk. It was a great surprise and pleasure to have stayed there.

Not one thing. It was excellent in every way.

Breakfast was gourmet, we got spoiled. Lobby and two more rooms downstairs are for guests to enjoy. Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.

Our windows were facing one of the bistros and on the weekend was a bit noisy even with windows shot. Local culture seems to be for grown-up to have drinks outside and relax and have conversation with friends, and for their children to run wild unsupervised, and children are known to loudly scream for joy. There is no traffic , just pedestrian zone around the hotel. At night and early mornings was super quiet. So not too bad at all.

Beautiful, spacious, well-decorated room with all the facilities one would expect and more! Touches like the bath robes and refrigerated bottles of water were much appreciated. The bed was impossibly comfortable. There was AC as well. The room was cleaned every day. The location is also great. The neighborhood is very trendy and it is easy to walk to the Old Town or find nice shops. The two restaurants outside the hotel are a bit pricy but absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. We also asked them to book a taxi for us for an early morning flight and they were very happy to do so.

Absolutely nothing! It was a perfect place to stay
