My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Stay Songsong very much! The design of the house is really nice, the blend of traditional and modern design was a refreshing surprise. It’s like staying at kampung grandma house, but with air-conditioners and comfortable beds. The house is pretty spacious, it’s really suitable for our group of 7. There are 2 bathrooms in the house so it’s good for big groups. There’s also a BBQ pit at the porch area and a fully equipped kitchen! Overall the stay is really nice with good value for money.

Location is abit far from Georgetown so it might be a little inconvenient for those who don’t have a car or prefer not to drive. A small suggestion: having tissues in the living room would be a nice touch.

Everything. It was more than we could ask. Cozy, not too big but comfortable and spacious for 3 couples and 2 kids. Plus points for the high baby chair. We didnt cook so we didnt look at the kitchen appliances but i saw enough appliances in the kitchen to cater the maximum pax of the house. Beds/pillows are all okay. All room have standing fan and ac and big mirror as well. The space outside the house was spacious and aesthetics for photos. House located in gurney area so its easy for us to go anywhere within our itinerary.

The water pressure was so slow.

We had a very pleasant stay at Stay Songsong Mt Erskine. Pet friendly, the spacious yard helped the pets settle in fairly quickly. The humans found the accommodation and facilities comfortable and convenient for a very nice staycation for families. For a party of 7, there was enough space without getting into each other’s hair. Eateries & shopping malls are within walking distance and there are minimarts to buy basic necessities within the vicinity.

Traffic getting in and out at the main road can be challenging depending on time of day on weekdays. The water pressure for one of the shower was very low, not adjustable. Inside of the fridge could be cleaner, but not a big issue. The rubbish bin outside the house is always filled up by others, suspected by the tenant occupying the back part of the property.

A very clean place with efficient and responsive host and staff. We had a good stay. Location is fine, not in the city centre but not too far. Quiet neighborhood.

The house is not fully sealed, so it can get pretty hot despite us turning on the aircon and fans in full blast. It's quite a waste of energy, so perhaps host can consider having some windows that can be closed off when we turn on aircon in the living room.

Me and my family had enjoyed the stay, especially my furkids can round around the nicely kept garden. At night we are able to hang out in the garden, chit chatting and drink. The most 'luxury' stay I had ever, we had best time here. Definitely will recommend friends whom wish to bring along their furkids too without needing to send them to pet hotel. A very safe and cozy place, I feel like home. Thank you to the owner for providing such comfortable place for us to stay.

Too many mosquito, if owner able to provide mosquito repellent then it would be 101% ! Hehe thank you

The place is clean and spacious, making it a pleasant environment to spend time with friends. The house's plants also add an extra bonus point for the house. The room air-conditioning system is also strong enough to counteract the heat of Penang. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

One of the room air conditioning remote controllers has no battery. The water pressure on one faucet is notably low. Numerous bugs and mosquitoes are present around the premises.

The house is sweet with very "Penang" style artwork around. Beds are comfy in nice rooms and the whole place is air conditioned. There was lots of space for 6 though we were only 5 and 2 bathrooms helped too. Don't forget your washing pods as there's a washing machine which is so useful! The owner was helpful and very responsive to messages. Off road parking is a bonus too.

It's a bit far from the centre: in our hire car it was 15 mins drive at night but 30 during rush hour. Grabs were also easy to find and cheap too. I did feel the toilets could have been more thoroughly cleaned as your feet are on the floor in the shower. Also with the structure of the house you can hear city traffic so ear plugs are a good idea unless you're a city dweller 🙂

We like this cosy home stay with private parking. A house with 4 beds 2 toilets for 5 pax are rare. We fully satisfy with the layout and peaceful location with quite neighbourhood! Gurney drive is within walking distance, this location is ideal if you want some walking after a full meals.

The pillows are too soft. But thanks to plenty of pillows provided. It will be good if can provide face tissue and bath mat.

We love the decor of the house! Not so many colors. I like the concept. Feel cosy. Cleanliness is A. The toilet is nice too. At outside the host provide buai & 2 beach chair. Its good and feel so extra. So homey! The most important, the car park also can fit up to 3. All rooms and living hall have aircond.

I love the stay with my family members at Stay Song Song Mount Erskine. The house was extremely clean, the location was accessible, with small Chinese hawkers stalls around the stay, and a peaceful environment. Definitely beyond my expectations and will definitely come back again with my family for another stay in Penang.
