The room was big enough with all amenities necessary. Location is a 5 min to the old quarter of Ipoh and 10 min to the train station. Breakfast was great with a huge selection of food ! There is a 7 eleven right next door as many food options nearby.

Small swimming pool was crowded in the morning and closed between 13.00 and 15.00 .

Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Hotel looks a bit dated from outside but everything is clean especially the restrooms. Location is really strategic, just across the Kinta Riverfront Walk

As usual, the location, the room Superior Deluxe King was much bigger for 2 pax and of course the breakfast spread. The lifts are plenty, waiting time to the minimum. Even though it is an old hotel but the Management seemed has been putting effort to upgrade it in phases. My room had it's furnitures replaced with new sets. Surprisingly, the air-conditioning system was very cooling and had no musty smell. The best part was the breakfast spread with many choices on Malays, Chinese, and Western food. The restaurant had also been upgraded and seemed spacious and modern.

.The lighting in the room could be improved in terms of its brightness. Even though the breakfast was wonderful, some of its food was not as good when I ate it 2 years ago. Probably, the management could ensure consistency in their food preparation. Maybe the TV could be upgraded to smart TV and the chair for the coffee table could be changed to a simple single sofa type.

The refreshment at the lobby after noon time is very human touch that we totally forget about the sun burst outside of hotel. The swimming pool staff was very attentive that he handed us additional towels after realizing we traveled in group of four. Breakfast is nostalgic and with variety of food, two thumbs up!

Room 1615 checked in April 14-17, 2025 the faucet is missing the aerator, as a result water splashes out everywhere whenever we use the faucet, please fix it.

Breakfast was excellent with hot food prepared on site (eggs, roti prata), in addition to other local and western breakfast items. Service during breakfast was also good. The room was spacious with a large bathroom that included a bathtub and standing shower. Parking is charged at RM2/24 hours if TnG card is validated at the front desk. Lots of parking space in the basement. There is a small 7-Eleven within the hotel premises, convenient for small items. The location of the hotel is very convenient to move around for sightseeing in Ipoh and surrounding areas.

This hotel seriously only walking distance to the famous memory lane. Is it also located near to Taman Jepun Ipoh. We only realize it is walking distance after walking along the Kinta Riverfront. The breakfast is excellent and my family really love it. It is worth for the money spent. A lot of choice and there had 2 different section, indoor is the 'Western Choice' and outside is for 'Kampung Style'. Spacious parking for basement 1 and basement 2. Will repeat to stay here if come to Ipoh again.

The room had bathtub but the plug is missing. This hotel just need to have upgrade on their carpet. Look old.

Clean, comfortable beds, spacious, surrond by a river and allow morning or evening leisure walks. Less than 10min walk to Ipoh Padang wherewe could nice modern cafes and eateries. Even to go to Rainbow City food centre and nearby massage centres Ipoh Parade mall, famous beancurd and chicken beansprout rice/horfun are with less than 8min ride costing ~RM5-8.

Nothing dislike, just to say, because we came in a group of 17 and booked 10 rooms; a few rooms were ready after 3 pm. If this area could be improved be wonderful. Our first time to this hotel, first impression is important.

We stayed at the 2 bedrooms apartment. Nice view of the mountainous range, probably facing west. Quite clean and everything in working conditions. Quite nice that the hotel services team had switched on the air-conditioning prior to our arrival. It got comfortable sofa set with fabric upholstery (surprisingly very clean without any stain and not itchy), a wash basin with kitchen cabinet (but without any cooking utensils and stove except an electric kettle plus 4 cups), 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a dining table. It has 4-5 lifts, so no problem in queuing. And as usual, the fantastic breakfast spread at their coffee house. At the lobby of the apartment, there's also a small self laundry outlet with 3 12kg- washer & dryer, can't recalled how much they charged.

There's nothing you could view from the TV set, in fact there were 2 tvs, one in living room and another in master bedroom. To go to the coffee house, it's a bit of walk but do able for the elderly or wheelchair-bound person.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast with huge variety. Great pool area. Large room with big bathroom area including seperate shower and bath. Nice location, easy 10-15 min walk to old town. Also near Kinta Riverwalk with park area, great cafes and even a small amusement park. Nice takeaway cake/sandwich counter down in the foyer.
