It is situated at a brilliant place. For those who are tired to find a shelter to rest in a ordinary European style: it is very close to a couple of Irish and the like pubs. I was charged twice for my stay accidentally. But after my appeal to the receptionist the manager told me that the docs for the refund are already in the bank. Shortly after, I got my refund without any problems. I recommend you this underrated hotel. What we especially appreciated: the location, close to the brand new facilities, the view of the TV tower.

Window​ is​ on​ the​ corridor​ site if​ you​ open​ the​ curtain you​ don't get​ the​ privacy but​ if​ you​ close the​ curtain​ you​ don't​ get​ the​ natural​ light.​ Fridge is not cold. If you unplug it, you will save a lot of energy or electricity bills because it is not useful if you plug it in.​ It's​ just​ the​ bo​x​ with​ the​ light​ 😂

The location of the hotel is very strategic which is walking distance to Alor Street, Pavilion & bars. The room was so clean & comfy. Easy check in & check out process. Definitely will come back again.

Location! It is less than half a KM away from major tourist attractions in Bukit Bintang (Jalan Alor, Lot10/Fahrenheit/Pavilion malls, Sungei Wang Plaza), as well as the KL Eco park. The city center is also just a moderate walk (via a covered walkway from the Pavilion) or a short bus/cab ride away, as are the Botanical gardens/bird/butterfly parks, various museums, Little India and Chinatown. The room we were allotted was spacious, and clean. The desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful. There is a small cafe (which serves excellent pastries and croissants), and a convenience store attached.

While the bed was quite comfortable, the pillows were huge, more like body pillows. Regular sized ones would've been nice. Not much to complain about otherwise.

The room was great and staff were very good. Room had all the amenities. Location was excellent and easy to travel around. Easy to find good food.

I had requested for a quiet room that did not face the road and was away from traffic. I was given a room towards the back on 2nd floor. However, there was renovation work going on with drilling that went past 6 pm! When I called reception, the person said they will look into it. I was told the manager had been informed and someone will call me back. No one did! The room on the 2nd floor was below ground level with horrible concrete beams and sloping soil with wild plants. It was as if you were buried underground! The sight that greeted you when you stepped out of the room was terrible and disappointing. Something must be done about landscaping the place.

The bed is super soft and fluffy! The shower has good pressure with rain shower head. You can request for your luggage to be temporarily stored after checking out. There is also a convenience store and a cafe with good coffee & bakes next to the hotel. Relatively quiet at night even if there is a street of bars/clubs down the road

The nearest MRT/Monorail is Bukit Bintang which is around 15mins walk away but if you are okay with walking then it's totally fine. You have to cross a street of bars/clubs at night if you choose to walk from/to Bukit Bintang. Traffic is crazy if you choose to take a grab especially at night and on the weekends. Other than these, its still a great location

Spacious room, excellent shower. For some of us the bed was comfy, for some it was too soft. AC positioned very well and worked properly. The location is very good because you are in walking distance to several KL hubs for nightlife, food, culture, sightseeing. Our room overlooked a tiny jungle below KL tower and it was very nice and green. We liked the property and have extended our stay.

The fridge in the room was not cooling enough and we were told it is not a fridge but a wine cooler. The doors to the room were letting a lot of light inside the room from below, so we had to use old towels to make it darker, but we need the room to be completely dark to sleep in.

Location was 10/10. We were able to walk each morning down the street to our usual breakfast place. The room was spotless, refreshing and aesthetically very lovely. The bathroom was large and loved the mirror with back lighting. We also really appreciated the 2 bottles of water our room was restocked with each day.

Indie Hotel is very well located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Center: you can walk to China Town (15 mn), Twin Towers (30 mn), Mall Centers (10 mn) and many other places, easy and safe. You can also book a taxi (grab, in Driver) to go there with the kindly reception staff. Rooms are new, clean, spacy, confortable. No negative experience, everything was ok. Many restaurants (western and asian food) and mini markets close to the hotel. This is a great place i recommend for a great stay in Kuala Lumpur.

It's the go-to hotel for anyone who is looking to visit KL either for a short or a long stay. It's ideally located in the heart of the city, at a 10-min walk from the famous Jl. Alor and about 20 min walk from Pavilion Mall. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, spacious and cozy. Good amenities too.

I don't have any complaints. One thing to note though is that, like a lot of hotels/apartments in KL, you have to be prepared to pay cash which nowadays feels quite unusual.
