The location (walking distance to Pasar Payang), availability of parking space (paid), the size of the room and bathroom, free bottles of water, fridge with freezer, microwave, sink and dishwashing liquid, places to hang towels and clothes, several power sockets to charge your devices, friendly staff and e-book of interesting places.

We were not informed in advance that housekeeping service was only provided once every 3 days, unless we requested for the service. So when we returned from our day activities the day after the 1st night, we were shocked to see that no one took our rubbish, changed the towels or made our beds. It's only normal that hotels should provide these daily service or at least state the rules clearly before check in and on the room wall so that guests are aware that they should make a special request. There were also dusts on the bed headboard and wall corners that needed some cleaning.

My honest review. 3D2N. Even though the Hotel Entrance looks like budget hotel, but the room itself is very spacious and clean!! They even provide lift for 3 level hotel which is amazing. No need stair with heavy luggage. The room is very very very spacious and comfortable. The toilet is spacious too!! The Air Conditioner also very cold. Have lots of power point. No need extension as they provide enough for everything. The kettle and iron are brand new. Mattress are really soft and comfy. The toilet very clean. I'm almost couldn't believe I book such amazing budget friendly hotel. Sink and Cabinets are very clean. They provide extra plastic garbage and tissue.

Almost nothing. I live every bit of it. Such amazing hotel!

Walking distance to Pasar Payang, Payang Walks and easy parking space if you came on Friday. Could be difficult to get parking on weekdays.

I stayed in the Japanese-style room and it was my second time at this hotel. The fact I returned to this hotel speaks volumes. The space was amazing - it was bigger than many one-room apartments I’ve stayed in. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice hot shower with amenities like shampoo, toothbrush set and shower cap. Mini-fridge and electric kettle in the room with Nescafé coffee sachets and mineral water bottles. One air-cond for the bedroom and another for the living area, plus a ceiling fan. Lots of rods for hanging your clothes and towels, though the room could do with more clothes hangers. Disposable bedroom slippers were provided but these were too thin and uncomfortable to be worn. The hotel is situated in a block of 4-storey shophouses. On the ground floor is a curtain shop. My room was on the top floor overlooking the back of another block of shophouses. There were only 4 units per floor. The check-in counter is located in a small separate entrance next to the curtain shop and is only manned between 3-6pm for check-in. I arrived early for check-in and texted the operator by WhatsApp in order to deposit my luggage. Note that although the floors are serviced by an elevator, you need to climb a short flight of steps to reach the elevator. The location is fantastic - I was without a car and it was walking distance to the bus terminal, Chinatown, Pasar Payang, Mydin supermarket and the popular breakfast place, Nasi Dagang Atas-Tol. You could use the ride-hailing app, Grab to call for rides. These were readily available and it was a short Grab ride to Mayang Mall, KTCC Mall and the Pantai Batu Buruk (RM5-7 each trip). From the bus terminal, you could take buses to other towns in Terengganu or even inter-state. It is best to enquire in person for the schedule.

The panel for operating the lift is supposedly modern and has no buttons. To operate it, you need a certain touch and instinct to know where to press and how hard to press the digital screen. Takes some getting used to but after a few times, you get the hang of it. Another thing is the property seems to be managed remotely and you just have to pray no issues arise.

Love the large space 10/10, you can buy as many things as you can, the room was large as shown in their advertisement. Beds were large enough for two adults. Bathroom was clean with good shower 8/10. The dry kitchen part has a microwave oven, kettle and medium size refrigerator, 9/10. Living room is spacious with a long dining table and a working table, 10/10. Lift for easy access to higher floor. There’s a towel racks for 4-5 towels, 10/10. Parking is convenient at the roadside. Location is superb! 10/10.

The pillow were too high, we can’t sleep well bcoz of the pillows, rate 1/10. Suggests the hotel to change the pillows as not only my family complained about it. The mattress still acceptable even though it’s not as comfortable as 5 stars hotel beds. I rate them 7/10.

Beautiful Wooden interior, comfortable and very clean room. Huge suite with pantry. Amazing and impressive conplete with all necessary amenities.. easy check in check out..we really enjoyed our stay if not for the noisy family with noisy kid next door. I can't find any fault with the room.

Wood is thick and solid but the guests next door were so noisy we heard them clearly through the wooden wall panel. The kid next door was jumping on the wooden floor and shouting which spoiled our 2nd night trying to sleep

The room was spacious. It had a small area which was separated through wooden panels where they placed the beds. There was a table to eat that could fit 3 people. And a study table to place your stuff on.

The room could perhaps use a cupboard area to hang clothes. The only one hanging equipment could only be used to hang wet towels. The bathroom/toilet was spacious, but because the shower area opens up to the sink and the toilet, it flooded easily (the shower panels didn’t cover down to the floor, so water seeped through from the shower to the toilet area) and the floor overall was slippery. It was a bit dangerous for my elderly parents.

Everything - cleanliness, comfort, perfect, always enjoy staying here. Very close to Pasar Payang, Masjid Abidin, Pulau Warisan & Chinatown - all within walking distance. We had dinner at Payang Walk & Uncle Chus, 7eleven for buying mineral water, last but not least, tapau breakfast at our favourite authentic Nasi Dagang Jalan Banggol, 50 years of delicious nasi dagang & nasi kuning, we simply could not miss it.

We usually wake up at 5am, no hot water that morning, room 203 - could be too early.

I like the furniture , simple and functional . Clean and spacious . Location wise right in the middle of the city . Owner allowed me to change date ( as I accidentally booked 1 day forward , very understanding and kind to allow last minute changes without hassle or extra charges)

Only 1 thing for my room which i kind of find it bothersome ... water surrounding WC is stagnant and not flowing , making the floor wet and with small water puddle . making the visit to toilet less comfortable ....

Will always be my 1st choice to stay in KT. Very comfortable place, convenient location and clean.

No fridge or minibar for cold drinks.
