Perfect location to explore Malta! In front of the hotel are main ferry and bus stops which are very convenient to transport around the island. Very close are also many restaurants with different cuisine, you should try the OPA Restaurant right next to the hotel in which you have 15% discount as a hotel guest! Recommend also to book hotel breakfast for the amazing view from the 8th floor rooftop. Very helpful staff, you can ask the reception about maps or different routes. The room was cleaned every day.

We were on the 7th floor and it was a little bit noisy around 07:30 when the breakfast was served.

The staff and Manager were very friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant. Right opposite the Sliema to Valletta ferry and bus stop. Stack of Restaurants literally at your doorstep. Breakfast was very good and served with a magnificent view looking over the harbour. The boys serving at breakfast were great and couldn't be more helpful. They varied the breakfast selection each morning. Our room was quite large and had a great sized balcony with a view to die for. The king size bed was very comfortable. Our room was serviced every day and the Hotel was kept very clean. Close to shops and convenience stores if you need supplies. There is a safe in your room and hairdryer. Would I stay again? Yes without a doubt.

The major thing that lets the place down is the lifts. They really need to be replaced or upgraded. There is no hiding the hotel is aging a bit, and there are a few little things that could be done to upgrade it. The bathroom was very serviceable, but a new floor and new door and a little tarting up would make a big difference. A new lock on the room door wouldn't go astray either. The sofa and cushions could also do with an upgrade, New bed pillows wouldn't go astray either.

Great location, room with a sea view Spacious room with acomfy bed. Tasty breakfast with great view of the bay. Helpful staff. I stayed in this hotel again and I would recommend it to everyone.

Bathroom is a bit cold in the winter time

Lovely location in Sliema. Lots of fantastic restaurants and bars around the area with the ferry to Valetta so close! The team was fantastic and would like to thank them for the complimentary upgrade especially Thomas who made check in so easy

Great hotel in a great location for exploring Malta. If you are just going to visit Valetta during your holiday then I would stay there. But if you want to explore the rest of the country then I would definitely stay in Salima and this hotel is situated perfectly for that. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk of the Ferry 1 to 5 bus stops which are used to explore the rest of Malta. The ferry that goes over to Valletta is right across the street. Many shops and restaurants also nearby. As for the hotel itself, it is very nice. The buffet breakfast is amazing - the best I have encountered in Europe during my last month of traveling. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I treated myself to the seaview room with a balcony and it was definitely worth the money. The views of Valetta and Sliema were very nice especially at night.

Elevators can be a bit slow as there's only 2 very small ones holding a maximum of 2 and 3 people respectively. Not really an issue except maybe at breakfast and check out time.

We had our first holiday at the Sliema Marina Hotel in 2015 and have stayed there every year since, except during the pandemic. As hotel is south-west facing, the balconies of sea view rooms get the sun from early afternoon until dusk. We live in a quiet Scottish village so we enjoy the contrast of Sliema, which is a bustling seaside town with many shops, restaurants, cafés and bars. Because of its central location and transport links, we find Sliema to be a useful base for exploring the Maltese islands. Also, as this hotel overlooks the Sliema waterfront, with its 6 km (3.8 mile) promenade, when not sightseeing or dining out we love to watch the world go by from our hotel room balcony. This hotel's restaurant is on the eighth floor, so the panoramic views at breakfast are stunning.

The staff are EXCELLENT, so friendly, professional and helpful...special mention to Jonathan at reception and Alfie in the bar/restaurant...unfortunately I didn't get the others names, but all were fabulous. The view from our superior room was stunning and the location is perfect.

The lifts are quite scary ....I walked up and down 6 flights of stairs daily, which was good for fitness. Breakfast just ok, but was included in price..I dislike juice and beverages from machines. The rooms are slightly dated but VERY comfortable

The location was out of this world. The staff can't do enough for you, Jonathan was our first contact at check-in, he was professional, happy and greeted us like old friends. Soufianne (the hotel manager) did every role possible, totally hands on and nothing was too much trouble for him Sushma (receptionist) is a massive asset to the hotel, (as was Jonathan) again nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely book to come back in May next year. The jacuzzi was a welcome retreat to cool down after sunbathing. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection of food.

The bathroom was too small and very dated. Would prefer a walk-in shower as opposed to a shower over the bath. However the rooms are spotlessly clean. You pay for what you get, I would definitely recommend a superior room for size and view. The lifts were a bit scary.

I had a room on the 7th Floor with a large balcony overlooking the bay and Valletta, the view was spectacular. The room itself was large and spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable; however, the hotel does need a revamp. The location could not have been better, across the street from the ferry to Valletta, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right next door. the location could not have been better. The staff are outstanding and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choices. I will be visiting Malta again, and will definitely be going back to this hotel. 1st Class Hotel in a 1st Class location with 1st Class staff

Hotel needs decorating

The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The staff was very courteous. The breakfast had a good spread and the view from the breakfast area is spectacular. The Hotel is in a busy central location and just next to the ferry stop to Valetta.

Though the overall experience was quite good, the Hotel seems to be from a different era with claustrophobic lifts and dated toilets.
