After reading all the bad comments i wasn't expecting much, but i was highly surprised! Rooms are big and have kitchen. Yes, not all the things are brand new, but it's cleaned! Everything is working in the room, even the ceiling fan. Tiles on the floor are brand new and look stunning! The walls are thick, so i didn't hear my neighbours and it was very quiet at night, despite the location. For such price and spot i have no complains.

It was very hot at night. I could have used the air con, but i was afraid of getting cold. Blackout curtains also helped to cool the room during the day.

I wanted an apartment as I was staying for a week. The apartment had air-conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, stove and bathroom. I was able to make my own hot drinks, bring my own food for breakfast. The location was perfect, close the the beaches, bus stops, shops and bars. It was set back from the hustle and bustle of the promenade, which enabled me to have peace and quiet, and a comfortable night. My apartment was on the 4th floor, with access by elevator. When I arrived I picked up the keys from reception. I left the keys in a safe as I had to leave early in the morning.

A good sized clean and comfortable apartment that provided all we needed for our 5 day stay. Management responded courteously to any minor issues that arose and ensured they were rectified as soon as possible. The hotel is located close to bus and ferry stops, and to supermarkets and restaurants.

A motor switched on and ran for a few minutes every few minutes throughout the night. It wasn't over noisy, but was certainly noticeable. We thought it might be the air conditioning or the fridge, both of which we switcherd off. This had no effect however and we were unable to identify what it was. We didn't really notice it until our last night when we went to bed early and probably slept lightly because we had to catch a very early morning flight.

Great value ,helpful staff and all you need for a quiet,very affordable, self catering base in the best location. We have stayed here 4 times and as always we enjoyed the peace despite it being centrally located. We enjoyed coming and going as we please and cooking our own meals. We enjoyed a clean spacious room with comfortable beds,kitchenette,hot showers,plenty of towels,good TV package and a great base for our days out and about. The staff are always ready to replace faulty or missing equipment. We have stayed in most of the hotels in Sliema, anyone who knows malta knows that the standards differ to other countries even in the more expensive ones. We like to be out all day and just need a base. We will always return to the Alborada aparthotel for reasons above. Thank you for the excellent stay.

Never any complaints. Anything missing is always replaced by helpful staff.

It was close to the center of Sliema and the boardwalk. Also close to the bus stops and the ferry. It was in a quiet area. I felt safe. The room was very spacious and it had a balcony. I must add I went in March and so it was still off - season.

This was completely to fault of my own. But I did not know Malta uses UK electric sockets. Therefore I did not bring my converter. And the one converter at the room did not work. So, when you go, now you know what to bring.

Hotel's location is on the main street going from Valetta to St. Julian's at to the north of the island - very close to the fairy harbor, all the major bus lines pass the street. In the heart of happening, a lot of restaurants, bars, clubs available near the road. Lots of beaches just across the street, so easy to get anywhere.

Most of the things were ok. Location, cleaning, facilities in the room etc.. the sink drainage was not ok but they fixed it the same day, thank you. it deserves a point more than 7-8

They shall renovate furniture. Other than that they need to change duvet covers after check out even if they think it is not used because it is used and smelling. Shifts were clean. Mosquitos are so much they need to talk with authorities regarding pest control.

Great location, near bus stops, shops, caffees... You have all needed to prepare breakfast/ dinner. It is very bright and comfortable. Big beds. The receptionist is very pleasant. Wifi is great.

The bed linen was clean, but duvet covers that are in the closet looked dirty. Also there was no dust, but it was not so clean in the bathroom. We stayed for 5 nights, and we refused cleaning on the second day, since we were still in the room, after that we was not offered for cleaning.

First night we got the room that was not on the picture, so I went downstairs and I’m assuming the son of the owner managed to give us the best room in the hotel, the one I booked. No other troubles during 8 days. Very satisfied

I had a sea view room on floor 4 with a super nice balcony. I really enjoyed it. The room was very big and the location was amazing. Couldn't be better for this price.

On the last day, the guy started knocking on people's doors at 10.20 to ask them to check out. For the first time I saw something like that. Check out time is 'until 11' means we have time until 11.00. Besides that, the sound isolation was terrible at this hotel. In the end, I was ready to go at 10.00, so I didn't bother much in the end but it was weird.
