Fantastic stay at the hotel! We came to Mexico for a Wedding and this hotel was amazing. It was so authetic and keeping within the character of the old town! Please do not change anything. We had a room at the back by the pool and it was very quiet at night. There is also an amazing member of your staff that we spoke to most mornings when coming down for breakfast. I wish I knew her name so you could pass on our thanks, she had short dark hair and wore eyeliner if that helps. However she was so lovely and made sure our stay was as perfect as it can be! She even gave us blankets one morning as it was cold when coming down for breakfast which was a lovely touch!

I couldn't fault the hotel at all! Great stay and great value for money! I would choose this hotel over a modern hotel anytime in Mexico!

We’ve most recently stayed at Hotel Mesón for a 12 day trip. The team provided our daughter with STUNNING Birthday decorations as well as an incredible, specialty made cake. She was thrilled!! Since mid January, we have booked this hotel for both family as well as business trips, all exceeding our expectations each & every time. There is a very regal feel when stepping into this beautiful spot. We’ve stayed in nearly a dozen rooms & each 1 has been like opening a present, unique, gorgeously decorated, room service is PHENOMENAL (highly recommend the ribeye & salmon) The staff is top shelf & are truly a the definition of “professional.” Any question or concern is always promptly answered here which is not always the case with many hotels surrounding this 1. Showers have perfect pressure & are HOT HOT(another rarity for hotels in this vicinity) They supply all needed toiletries & stock you up daily, quite nice toiletries, lotion, toothbrush & toothpaste etc. Bathrobes are an awesome addition. Everything is a walk away, great eateries, various restaurants & coffee shops. There are a LOT of really nice, “boutique” type stores & you can find lots do bring bags!! The restaurant has terrific food & if you feel like ordering in, room service or Uber eats are great & quick options. Wifi is really really good in some places , other spots I have found it hard to have as strong of a signal. Note: I spent majority of today in the pool & poolside is 1 of the strongest wifi spots in the entirety of the hotel. If you love shopping(which I do!!) there are several malls a short taxi or car ride away (Antea is, hands down, THE best shopping center of all of them. It directly connects

Rooms are large, clean & view of the city is lovely. I ordered room service every day I was here & food was absolutely divine. Service is absolutely impeccable. I extended my stay as I just loved it here!!! We will be back.

Wifi isn’t the best but staff did try to help me with as best they could (if you’re conducting zooms etc for business, I highly recommend using the beautiful library) The room although stunning faced the street which is insanely loud Fri & Sat. Sunday onward is peaceful.

Fabulous hotel. Excellent service from Alessandra, Armando, and staff. Extremely spacious bedroom and bath, stylishly decorated and comfortable. Lovely pool area. Perfect location right next to a Plaza with great restaurants and local musicians. We felt like we were in Europe. All for a great price.

location is excellent, the hotel space is lovely and well appointed, it's quiet within the facility versus the very busy street right outside, and I loved the guest spaces within the hotel, like the library and pool.

I loved the restaurant staff and service- I was just not too impressed with the food.

The rooms at the front of the hotel were noisy at night but they moved us to the back and it was perfect.

Huge Bed, room, bath, courtyard view, restaurant below. Corner of Place de Armas, many good restaurants, lively pedestrian zone. Museums within easy walking distance.

Music constantly, repeated, too loud

Huge rooms and spaces, perfect location close to everything and tour agencies, friendly staff, comfortable place to sleep, keep the colonial look and decoration. Great wine.

Small dead bugs in our room, breakfast was average, and room lights were difficult to find.
