Very clean, nice plants and outdoor seating, free drinking water, well equipped shared kitchen, easy check-in Marisa is really friendly and was enjoyable to chat with.
Room 9’s AC doesn’t work very well. The coolest we could get the room (with the fan running and windows/curtains closed) was 86 degrees. The linens could use an update as they’re worn and heavily stained.

I am so grateful for this hotel. The warm lights instead of bright blueish leds I have subjected to on my travels in Mexico airbnbs thus far... Thank You. ♡♡♡♡ Really make a difference. My room was the lower floor Deluxe Double. I had two beds. One softer full bed and a firmer twin with nice pillows. You can really tell the owner took care with the simple yet effective decor. I loved the feminine cozy touches to my room. 100% I am here for it. When I walked in I squealed. I felt right at home. A/C and fan. I was able to wash my hair the first-time in a long time because of strong water pressure - Blessed.& Grateful. I also had a built in vanity ~ oh my gosh. I really have not been taking care of myself. This hotel really welcomed self care easily back into my life. The way the hotel has places for your belongings off the floor is unbeatable so far in my travels. I do not like having to put my bags on the floor. also hangers which again my other airbnbs lacked. So helpful. The Table and chair were perfect for working inside my room. I had Stuff to do on the computer for a dedicated two days straight, the table has the PERFECT height and width for working with a mouse, my laptop and external monitor. Wifi worked great - no real issues and OMG we went through a few heavy storms. Wifi and power worked! The kitchen was easy to navigate and plenty of kitchen equipment, glasses, dishes, plates etc... I really should of used it more during my stay. There are two outside tables large enough for whole families to dine together. One by the kitchen and another on the upstairs Terrance. I am really really going to miss this place. My last and best place to stay out of 4 different spots. Wish I choose to stay here for my entire month long trip to Bacalar instead of bouncing around. I am not sure if they like or except longer stays anyway. Most places ~ rightfully so only let people stay a week here at the lake. You would have to call them or stay for 5 days and...
That I did not choose to stay here first. I felt at home here. Maybe it is not for everyone but I was generally happy with my stay. Maybe next time I will choose the upstairs Terrance.

+ Good Value for money. + Kitchen is equipped w/ everything you need. + Close to 1 out of 2 public beaches/piers available in Bacalar. + AC available. + Drinking water provided. + Cleanliness
-Old and noisy beds. - 10-15 min walk to centre could be inconvenient for short stays. - Kitchen could be small on peak hours, e.g: breakfast.

Nice, quiet place. The room was big and clean. A little removed from the center so the restaurants were cheaper than at the square yet it was only a few minutes walk to the busy area. There were two tables in common areas where you could hang out which was nice.
No kettle which is an absolute must and the coffee machine had a mold inside. It was very inconvenient making coffee in a big pan as no small pots were available. The pillows in our room were gigantic so not very comfy. Needs a reading light in the bedroom

Very clean. Montserrat, the cleaning girl was always there and always staying busy. The room was spotless when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable.
Water pressure in the shower was very low. Also, no manager or owner was around and I needed to have an issue resolved regarding payment and booking error on my part and I was not able to get in touch. Montserrat even tried to contact the owner/manager with no luck. Also, one evening some people showed up and were not able to get into their room because there’s no one around to help them. Also, the kitchen was spotless and clean, but not well equipped. There was one spoon, two forks, and only one coffee mug for all the people staying there!

Great location, also it has a kitchen with all the tools. The room was quite big, and not expensive at all. The room was clean
There was no hot water in the shower. Also, when we got there was no one on the reception. The day later we need to check out and still there was nobody in the reception. We write them a message and it took them sometime to come. We were harry because we already order a ride, so mabey if your harry write them 5 min before your checkout. There was also a few bags in our room, but our room was in the first floor so I guess it make sense. The room was clean.

Good budget hotel in a quiet clean neighbourhood with use of a kitchen. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean.
Unfortunately for some reason one of our matresses dissappeared on day 2 of 4 so one of us had to sleep on a bare spring matress. I did enquire and was told the cleaner had spilt something on it and it would be back the same day, but it didn't re-appear. Can be a bit noisey if other guest are sat out in the diing area.

Clean private room with an aircon. Quiet area but not that far from the center. Well equipped kitchen. Possibility to store luggage on the check-out date for free.
Host provided us Wi-Fi and password in advance so we can contact them in case of late check-in. Luckily we had data because the Wi-Fi didn’t exist and the password was also off. Host didn’t provide the correct information even when we asked. Luckily other tenants shared.

The room was big and clean. Good outside area with table and chairs for eating. Kitchen was fully equipped and 10 minutes walk from the centre so nice and peaceful. Laguna Bacala really is a beautiful stretch of water and well worth a trip out on. Top tip for ATM , there is a Santander ATM at Willy,s super market on the main highway opposite Ado bus stop. All the others in town were out of action.
Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss while we were there making things a bit awkward to organise.

We were a bit sceptic to take the place but it was perfect It has hot water (not to much pression but perfect for a shower), free drinkable water, internet and kitchen. The staff is very friendly and everything was super clean. The location is very quiet and is very close to the public dock (less then 10 min on foot)
