We ended in a very nice room with lagoon view - lots of privacy, good size room, and the cleaning staff was great.

Among other things, we chose this hotel because of the free breakfast, but 2 days prior to arrival they informed us via Whatsapp that NO BREAKFAST was available and that the rates we paid were already reflective of no breakfast, as this was complimentary. This was a huge deal for us, because we hadn't budgeted for additional expenses like this, plus the time consuming aspect of having to go out for breakfast.

I booked a room with a view on the lagoon (over 70 euros...) to hear that there were none available upon arrival ... Staff is nice but manager not the same. Do not bother booking for a lagoon view as you will probably not get it on a short stay. It will save your money Bathroom tap was leaking a lot but I only stayed a night so except from this all perfect.

I recently returned to this hotel after a previous great stay, and I’m so glad I did! It’s rare to find a place that continues to exceed expectations, but this one absolutely does. Since my last visit, they’ve expanded the hotel with a beautiful new pool and an inviting open space that adds even more charm to the property. The rooms, as always, are spotless clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are hands down the sweetest, most accommodating people I’ve encountered in hospitality. Every single person goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and valued. You’re not just another check-in here they make you feel special. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s a lovely, relaxing place to stay, and the price makes it all the more amazing. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

We were in room 3, unfortunately it seems there is a drainage problem which caused a strong foul smell to fill the bathroom and subsequently main room if door left open. After cleaning on day 1 they used a product which covered it, but after a day it had returned. This should be repaired or fixed.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It is right in front of the lagoon. So, the view is beautiful. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to book a tour of the lagoon with her help. The price was great and the taxi to the boat was included, which made everything very easy. The front desk even called a taxi for us to get back to the bus station.

The Door to the room was a sliding door. That was fine, except it was hard to enter the room sometimes. It would have been nice to have a heavier blanket for the bed. Not complaints really. Just a "nice to have"

Location was great, short walk to town center, steps away from lagoon. Room was very clean and well furnished. Young man at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly, as well as the lady that came on shift after him. Assisted in getting taxis and arranging tours. They have an awesome common area on top level with views of the lagoon and a nice breeze; unfortunately we didn’t discover this until the day we left. It’s too bad that they don’t serve food or have the bar operating anymore, obvious that it was laid out for this and have very nice areas for eating and lounging.

We expected a room with a balcony view of lagoon but got one on main level that opened into common area, so even with a very large patio door, we had to keep curtains closed. Pool wasn’t very clean - not like photos.

We had a wonderful stay at this modern and comfortable hotel. The interior was very clean, and our room was not only cozy but also came with a beautiful lake view, which we really enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was excellent, as it was close to the center yet still peaceful. We also appreciated the hotel’s lovely pool and the decent breakfast that was provided each morning.

The only downside was the presence of pigeon nests right outside our room on the roof. The birds were quite loud, and unfortunately, they left droppings on our terrace, which was a bit unpleasant. However, the owner was very understanding and assured us that the area would be cleaned after our stay. They also kindly covered the cost of the beers we had during the day, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Great location in Bacalar. It is right across from the public access point to the lake. It is a short walk from the hotel to the small centre square, where there are a few cafes/restaurants (plus you’ll pass some on the walk). The staff were helpful for booking transport. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a lovely private terrace. We had hot water in our shower. It is not a very accessible hotel, as there are many stairs and no elevators. They also no longer offer breakfast, which was disappointing as it was advertised when booked.

This is a nice hôtel with everything you need . I like the rooftop particularly I also liked that the room has a small fridge . My room was number 9 and had a view . Some rooms have their windows on the corridor only . The staff was very nice and helpful . I did not have time to use their little plunge pool but it looked nice . I also like that you can refill you water bottle as much as you want too . Nice bar in front of the hotel and restaurant close by .

We loved the location and the staff was great! We also thought the hotel was a great location and very nice. Our room was very dark and located so we couldn’t open the curtains. We were provided with a reading light which made all the difference and should be in every room!

The front deck needs more shade options for breakfast and when we move to shade to finish our coffee we were asked by the staff to leave to accommodate other guests… we were not happy about that. Our biggest complaint was the pool does not open until 11am so a morning swim was not an option when it was very hot! Very disappointing and poor timing on the part of the hotel. The pool should be open by 9.
