This hotel is located in a working class neighborhood but I felt very safe. The room was bigger than it looks in the pictures which was a great surprise! Great air conditioning and wifi was great and fast. Bathroom was modern and clean. There's a laundry directly below the hotel run by the owners and a cute coffee shop on the corner. It's also a five minute walk from a nice mall and less than 20 minutes from the city center by Uber.

There was a strong smell that might have come from the cleaning solution used, but that was oddly comforting in the age of covid-19. The cable tv was spotty and unreliable for watching tv consistently, but I also had my laptop and just watched Youtube shows. There are no elevators and I was on the third floor, but it was a problem because I have bad knees. If you don't have any leg problems this shouldn't be an issue.

As a last resort, because my original reservation through booking was not honored and Booking.com did not do anything to help just provide a usd$25 coupon. This happened at 11 pm.

Hot water as described in other reviews . It was close to the Hospital so useful for the intention of my trip Easy to find and not so far from Montejo Avenue ( 10 minutes by car or cab )

We arrived late ( good thing That I told them ) Nobody in reception. we asked about it at the Laundry next door and it was the same lady working at both places . First thing she said to me was welcome, you have to pay $ XXX.xx ! Wanted to charge me extra 4.5 % paying with a debit card ! Had to do a transfer to avoid the extra charge. They could have send that Payment info as well or knowing I was arriving after 8 PM maybe I expected at least a " how was your trip Sr. " or something different . They said room had a queen bed and it is a double. no 24 hrs reception ( they say it is and the receptionist was polite but in a rush because she was leaving at 9PM ) Balcony ? it is the hallway. NO cable TV ( said it is included) .The "parking" is at 2 dark and lonely streets or only on the street in front of the hotel , the area have a yellow line usually forbidden for parking. Next to a Public High school so quite busy and noisy in the mornings till around 9:30 PM at night. very narrow rooms. NO restaurants near by, the one there only serves breakfasts for students ....and not a good variety .
