Staff were excellent (except for the restaurant manager). Bed was so comfy and the breakfast was delicious - and plenty of it! Pretty good location, too. Roof top pool was brilliant but absolutely freezing. I still went in though!

The only issue i had was with the restaurant manager on the night i arrived. I ordered food, which was delicious and then asked for the bill. I tried to pay via card but was told they don't accept cards. I had just paid for my room with my bank card, so knew this was wrong! I asked if I could put the meal on my room when the manager butted in and said no. He was rude to me and the 2 female waitresses. Luckily, I also had euros with me. He took those off me and gave me change in Dirhams. I politely questioned the exchange rate and he took them back and gave me smaller notes - and gave me less! Completely overcharged. I went to reception to complain and was told he should have accepted card. She was polite but not very interested.

Their staffs are amazing Mynah,Mariam were so sweet and helpful. The guys at the entrance too were all helpful and nice. The staffs are respectful and nice. The hotel is great. I recommend as it is also close to every attraction.

I think my only issue with the hotel is the smell. They should work on scents and room sprays amd they should also put handwash in the bathrooms. Aside these things, the hotel is great

I don't understand why the score is only 8,2. In my opinion it should be around 9! Big room and very big bed. Good shower, fridge and nice rooftop pool with long opening hours. The breakfast was excellent. If you don't want to be in middle of the hectic medina, the location is very good. It's only 5-10 min walk to the gate to medina. For first time visiting Marrakech I would recommend staying in a riad in medina. I was here for one night at the end of the trip and for that the location and proper hotel was very good.

I stayed in second floor right next to staircase and there was a lot of noise from the lobby or reception late in the evening and early in the morning. The wifi was okay but not good. There was some old stains and wear in the bathroom but it's okay for me. Keep in mind that the pool is not heated so if you are not used to that it might be a bit cold during late autumn, winter and early spring.

This was one of the best Hiorels I ever stayed in. All the Staff were professional and courteous and so helpful, including the cleaning staff and the Porters wee great. The room was excellent Lovely decor and a 36" wide screen tv. A great view of the main road in front of the Hotel, from the room window. The bed was suoercomfy, (could have slept all day in it). There was a refrigerator with a complimentary large bottle of water. The shower was great. Really liked this room and so clean. Breakfast was excellent with different dishes every day with more than you could eat. The Hotel was within walking distance. of the attractions. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The Hotel was in a good location, 20 minute walk to the Medina, 20 minute walk to the main station. Friendly staff who spoke excellent English. All taxi drivers I used knew its location. The breakfast room was large enough and a reasonable selection on the buffet. Room was nice and clean. The outdoor swimming pool was on the top floor with good sun coverage complemented by a restaurant and a small games room and gym. Supermarket and small shops close by.

There was nothing that I did not like about Hotel Racine.

A modern hotel in a good location at the start of the old town within walking distance of the Medina. The pool and roof terrace are a welcome break from the busy souks. Breakfast had a great selection of sweet and savoury food. The attached restaurant is good value and the taglines were excellent. There is a great sports bar opposite too for a cold beer.

The hotel is in a good location to walk to the medina, about 20 mins and in the opposite direction a shopping mall with Mcdonalds. On the way you pass a KFC with a great cake shop nextdoor. Ask at reception for a map. Breakfast is as great as everyone says, lovely coffee, english black tea, fab scrambled eggs, pastries ..... If you'd like alcoholic drinks the sports bar across from the hotel is very european. Our bed was super comfy. Marrakesh airport only accept paper boarding passes but printing them out at reception (for free) was no trouble at all. Lovely friendly staff.

We would have liked a kettle in the room, but not that inconvenient. The decor especially the bathroom fittings are a bit dated but the piping hot water in a big shower was perfect.

Hotel Racine is very close to Gueliz plaza and Carre Eden shopping center, just about 10 minutes walk. The location is very safe, even at night. It is very quiet compared to Medina where most riads are located. It is accessible easily for tour drivers as they can pick you up directly in front of the hotel and you can even get a taxi in front of the hotel as well. The hotel is very clean but some of the bathroom furnishing looked tired. Housekeeping staff cleaned our room daily and changed towels as well. The room is spacious and air-conditioned. It has a TV which we didn’t really used by choice. It also has a mini-fridge with complimentary water to drink. There is a pool at the rooftop, it can be cold to swim in at night but during the day it’s fine. The hotel has two restaurants, one beside the main lobby and one at the rooftop by the pool. They prefer to take cash for payments. Our booking included a free breakfast which was generally good but scarced. Upon check out, there will be like a tourist fee to be paid at the reception and also, you can request for airport shuttle the night before you check out for a small fee. The hotel and restaurant staff have been really good to us during our stay and overall, it has been a great experience. Thank you Hotel Racine. Hope to come back one day.

Location, room was comfortable and clean, pool

We arrived early. Lady at front desk said room will be an hour and we can enjoy the pool but then we came down an hour and half later and she said we hadn’t wait an hour yet. We then said no problem we will sit on sofa by reception we then waited another 2 hours here which was our usual check in time. If we were told this we would of gone for a walk/to the shop etc rather than wait there. The same lady said she would change some money for us and ripped us off… when we asked the following day the gentlemen pointed us to the bureau next door and we got a substantial amount more than what the lady gave us telling us she was giving us a special deal. You learn from your mistakes! Bare in mind the pool is also very intimate.

Small but nice rooftop pool, clean everywhere, solid breakfast, helpful staff.

Not that good internet connection, could be quite noisy from the street (fixable with better windows) and i would put a water kettle in the room.
