Great location (and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the city centre!) Staff is super helpful and kind, quick check in and out Clean both in my dorm and in the bathroom Even though I didn't rent a bike (it was December) I like the option to do so Really warm but not too hot Basically everything you may need and look for

The bathroom is definitely too small. We got just w toilets and 2 showers for 18 people I know it's a hostel, not a 5 star hotel but I was a bit annoyed that we had to make our own beds and take the bags with our bedding back to reception when checking out. It wasn't easy to put bedsheets on the bottom bed so I bet it's quite a challenge to do it on top bed (3rd one, there's also middle bed) Some people were noisy but that's what you might get in any hostel. Pillow was bad, not the best sleep

Staff member who greeted us was really kind and welcoming - also got free coffee, bonus! First time ever staying in a hostel, and this place was a perfect first start. Bed was comfortable, the curtain on the bunks gives plenty of privacy, so you can sleep easy. The Bees security was spot in with needing your key card to get through the front door but also your floor door AND your locker! ( lockers are also perfect size for a suitcase or in our case big rucksacks. The location is perfect, about 20 minute walk to train station/ferry and also about 20 mins to the centre. When we visited I suppose you could say it was off season so it wasn't incredibly busy or rowdy but still plenty of people if you want to socialise. And if you really want to fit in with the locals, you can also rent a bike! Would totally go back to the bee hostel again!

Honestly, not a bad thing to say about the place. However, only thing that was a little misleading was the number of beds in a room. When we booked we booked the 6 person room but when we got there, the room was actually a 12 person room in like an 'L' shape so 6 people up one side and another 6 across the bottom. But in all fairness, this wasn't a big inconvenience or anything, just caught us off guard for a first hostel experience.

I went to Amsterdam on a whim. And of course needed a place to stay. I found The Bee Hostel. This turned out to be a strike of luck. The Bee Hostel is perfectly clean, is modern, and is centrally located. The other guests seemed to enjoy being here, and the atmosphere was very friendly. It was also very good value for the money. But, saving the best for last, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I had the privilege of meeting and talking to three of the staff quite regularly: Very grateful for that. Obrigado / Gracias / Danke !! / Stefan

I had a really pleasant stay at this hostel. It’s super accessible and easy to get to, which made everything more convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. The bathroom and sleeping areas were both very clean and well-kept. As a tea lover, I especially appreciated the complimentary drinks—such a nice touch! Would definitely stay here again.

Good Overall, But Smoking Was an Issue Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but one downside was the occasional smell of cigarette smoke. I’m not sure if the hostel is entirely smoke-free, but there were several times when I could clearly smell it—especially at night. As someone with asthma, this made it a bit difficult to sleep and feel fully comfortable. It would be great if smoking policies were more clearly enforced or communicated.

The Facility is in an excellent location and neighborhood. Staff were very helpful, professional and friendly and my especial thanks goes to dear Thais for her caring personality. I enjoyed how everything was clean and modern. Thank you for the value you bring to booking. Com and supporting solo travelers...

Attention : The Stairs are very small and not enough space to go up with out a intensive leg workout. It was not an issue for me and I actually enjoyed the exercise as I'm fit. But if you are overweight or not focused you might fall and get in serious trouble! It's not the owner fault though and it's a common issue in the city.

I spent 6 quiet, comfortable nights in this hostel a few days ago. The location was nice and in walking distance to many interesting sights. It's also quite well connected to DAM etc. by tram. If you are a solo traveller: definitely recommend. Although there is no kitchen and not really a common area, people were friendly and the hostel really encourages people to connect with each other by providing a hostel chat you can join. When I was there, many people used it to meet up, it was quite social.

Just be aware that the stairs are very steep and can be challenging if you have heavy luggage. Also, although beds are clustered together in each corner in principle forming 3 units per floor, these units are not separated by doors or anything - you are basically staying in a dorm with about 20 people. That being said, it was surprising how quiet it still was...

I stayed at this hostel for a week and had an excellent experience. The place is clean, charming, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after exploring Amsterdam. It was my first time on a hostel so what truly made the difference was the amazing attention and support from Ari and Juan. From the very beginning, they were always available, incredibly friendly, and more than willing to help. They gave me super helpful advice, helped me get organized, and guided me on how to move around the city. Always with a smile and a warm, professional attitude. You can really tell they love what they do—and they do it so well. Thanks to them, my stay was much easier and more enjoyable. Huge thanks to Ari and Juan!

All beautiful

Very nice and modern hostel, well equipped, you can find there everything needed for a comfortable stay, the location is great, I could walk to the center.

The bathroom door was opening/closing loudly, which made me wake up a few times at night because someone was using it.
