Location and flat

In the beginning I was terrified from the comments I saw in other sites for this hotel but thankfully now it’s renovated and the rooms were really nice clean and pleasant for our stay in Amsterdam! The location is beautiful right next to the tram station. I really enjoyed my stay there

The WiFi not that good and it miss a small fridge from the rooms

Great Hotel, Freindly and helpful staff. Great view from the hotel room. Very clean room with all the hotel perks. In walking distance to all the museums and attractions. Must stay to experience the Amsterdam life.

Really clean, good location and staff really friendly

There are a lot of stairs, does keep you fit for sure but got used to it after a few days. WiFi didn’t allow you to use certain apps on phone.

The staff at the hotel were amazing, very kind and exceptionally responsive. The location is great for those looking for a calm area to stay that is still within walking distance of the more central tourist areas, with a lot of nice cafes and restaurants just across the street and no outside noise. The room was comfortable and clean.

The bathroom could have been slightly more comfortable, as the slant of the roof made it a bit cramped. The toiletries were a bit scant, so best to bring your own. Finally, it's good to be aware of the steep stairs leading up to the rooms (this is clearly noted in the property description though).

- perfect location. right outside hotel. 5-10 mins from centre. - clean, comfy, modern. - lovely receptionist. - coffee making facilities in bedroom and reception. - towels changed everyday and beds made. - great value for money compared to a lot of the hotels we looked at and so up to date and modern compared to some we looked at similar price. we also got a private bathroom which a lot didn’t offer at the price we got this hotel for. overall would highly recommend this hotel.

the only thing i’d say is it can get quite noisy if you’re on the first floor (which we were) as it’s right next to reception and a bar underneath. but this isn’t too early or late. (around 9am and 11pm but then it stops).

Girl on the front desk was great when we were signing in. Didn't meet any other staff. Room was actually quite nice and better than expected. Hotel itself was dated but i believe most in the area are. TV was actually good and had access to netflix etc. Location was excellent . With the 3 day public transport pass and a tram right outside you can go anywhere

Bathroom flooded after showering which was a minor inconvenience. Some days we only received one towel. It's hard to say it wasn't value for money for the area as all hotels here are over priced imo

Stayed 2 nights with my family, will definitely visit again. Friendly staff and fully renovated rooms, clean and spacious. Good location close to all the touristic sights by foot or public transport.

Since the rooms are on a busy street with the tram so a better windows isolation is a must. The lack of mirrors in the room or hooks to put jackets. No electricity jack in the bathroom made it difficult to get ready with hair and makeup since its the only space with a small mirror.

the room was lovely, cosy, with a nice view and in a great location, really good value for money & friendly staff too. the coffee area was a nice touch by reception.

the only thing that let it down was a very damp smell from the bathroom, we left the bathroom door open when we went out for the day and the whole room smelt. also, the stairs! we had to take a suitcase to the top floor, but this is normal for amsterdam.
