Love the property but there are no air conditioners and only one fan in the apartment.

Needs more than one fan per apartment.

I really liked the fact that there was the ability to keep drinks and snack cold in the fridge. We liked the neighbourhood and felt very safe out in the evening. Liked that we were able to park our rental car.

I felt that if the bathroom had hooks for towels it would make a big difference. There is no place to hang your towels after showering so they subsequently never quite dry. I ended up using a pant hanger to hang the towels from. It was too warm to use the towel warmer. A fan in the living area as well as the bedroom would have been really nice.

Location is perfect Spacious apartment with a gorgeous view All amenities you might ever want: dishwasher and washing machine were a pleasant surprise, stove, microwave, toaster, fridge, etc. Elevator and easy access on all floors TV with Chromecast got an unexpected amount of use: after a long day of walking we enjoyed watching our fave shows via our apps casting to either TV set.

House keeping is once a week and understaffed. Felt bad for the staff and at the same time missed some things being replenished (such as toilet paper which is nice to have). It was also a surprise that we had to buy our own dishwasher pods. As much as it is an apart hotel, things like sugar and pods are inconvenient to buy for a traveller. We did appreciate that salt and pepper were provided.

Like the location, near the city centre Also like the facilities including dishwasher, wahsing machine, plus the hanger that can dry up the clothes. All these machines helped out lives in Amsterdam easiler (we cooked and washed clothes in the appartment) The staff were helpful and responsible. One time a staff showed up to see what was happening as the detector was on (some smokes were produced when we were pan-frying the steak even though we opened all the windows with exhaust fan on) One last thing, we accidentally found out the photos hang on the walls were all related to the history of this hotel! The buildings were built in 19th century! Cool!!

If the window could open up more, it would be great (could just open in palm length).

Great location. Canal view. We stays in a bedroom, 2 bathroom loft. The loft was clean, spacious and lots of light. 2 blocks walk to the trams and metro. Cafe around the corner. Quite area away from the noise of the city. We didn't cook on our stay but the kitchen had everything if you wanted to cook. The place was comfortable (the the beds were hard for our taste) but everyone is different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no daily cleaning service but if you needed fresh towels, more soap or toilet paper, just had to ask the reception employee and they provided anything needed. Overall, a great place to stay in Amsterdam!

Nothing but a softer bed. Personal preference.

Lovely spot in a beautiful building - easy walking distance to Weesperplein and Waterlooplein stations, a heap of cafes and restaurants and there is a Albert Heijn supermarket nearby. Our first time in Amsterdam and we really enjoyed the location. Room was cozy and well appointed with high ceilings and had no issues with outside noise. We stayed in the same building as the reception area - liked how we could step outside to a courtyard and then out to the street without having to go through the rest of the hotel. Internet is fast, TV allowed us to use our FireTV stick we brought with us from Australia for streaming. Nespresso machine, oven, cooktop, microwave, safe, plenty of clothes hangers in the room - super handy and the bed was great. We were right near the gym which was simple but had a heap of free weights, some weights benches, mats, foam rollers and a treadmill. Beautiful park over the canal where we spent a bit of time. Our room didn't have a washer/dryer but there were easily accessible facilities in the other buildings, and you can bring a drying rack back to the room if needed.

Nothing really, and the staff were great. If anything it was a little warm when returning from being on a walk with no way to open the window to get some fresh air in. Could also do with a full-length mirror for making sure you look ok before heading out.

Interesting place with a good area to chill for coffee breaks. Good location.

Firstly, arrived to the foul smell relating to the bathroom Secondly, no ventilation in room and temperature gauge reading 28degrees on a coolish day. Staff had to prise window with a pinch bar to open. Thirdly, amenities in bathroom not replenished by housekeeping on our arrival.,, low on conditioner, no tissues, body wash and hand wash. Topped after several reminders. Fourthly, toilet had a blockage and wouldn’t flush addressed that day. Lastly, the shower had a leak and fixed several days later although then leaked in another area. It made it uncomfortable for us to remind staff of these matters.

Apartment was big, modern and clean. Had all of the kitchen and other appliences needed. The building is very beautiful with hostorical(looking) courtyards. Not a long walk from De Pijp and the city center about 15 minutes. Botanical garden and zoo are right next to the apartment and so are tram stations linking you to the city Center and main train station.

Cleaning is only once a week. Got only one towel for two people. Elevator goes only to third floor we were on the fourth. The stairs are steep and narrow as is the case everywhere in Amsterdam making it difficult to bring large luggage And groceries to the appartement.

What a gem! The Wittenberg by Cove was such a surprise find and it was perfect for our 7 day family trip to Amsterdam. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood that is close to everything yet quiet and homey. The facilities are beautiful and perfect for a very comfortable longer stay. Fully stocked apartment, washer/dryer (perfect for long vacations where you need to wash clothes), multiple (and separate bedrooms), super helpful staff.

These are longer-term rentals so expect a little wear and tear on furniture etc. It’s like an airbnb but better.

The property was in a fantastic location - only about 10-15 min bike ride to most of the main places in Amsterdam! The apartment was clean and comfortable and very spacious. The bike rentals were easy to use as well.

Even though the bins were emptied every other day, our toilet paper was never stocked once in our 7 day stay. We had to ask reception for toilet paper, which is not the end of the world, however for the price and the standard of the apartments I would’ve expected the toilet paper to be stocked up when the bins were taken out.
