Location perfect staff where so friendly and the day we where leaving we checked out 11am then hotel staff looked after our bags as our flight wasn't until 9pm so they let us come and go use all kitchen facilities free coffee tea etc then nice clean toilet shower room to get changed freshened up before leaving for Airport. Staff made a effort to speak with us to very nice people.

We where meant to be lower floor but ended up at very top 5th floor Am sure the staff wld have moved us if We asked but it added to the experience and was great view of nice wee private gardern and a great part of the story to tell back home lol

very clean, family room was a great size, location was perfect was able to walk right into the centre and plenty of public transport.

no elevator and steep stairs but we were aware of this when booking and it wasn’t an issue.

It was in a great location, the staff were all extremely helpful, it is walking distance from most places such as supermarkets or museums. It felt like a really safe area and everyone was friendly. The room itself was very spatious and had nice open windows and a desk and couch which was handy for work. Everything you could want.

The first issue worth noting is there are very steep stairs with not a lot of headroom and sharp angles to traverse and no lift. So if you have mobility difficulties this wouldnt be the place for you. Secondly whilst the room was very nice the matttress was rather thin and the toilet extremely cramped, as in when you sit down your knees touch the wall. The room itself was very big so this was a surprise.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Let’s us store our bags before check in and one of our group had a bad ankle and they bought her ice pack every night!

I think our sink might have leaked

This is a lovely little place and very central to most amenities. The staff were very approachable and pleasant. They made us feel welcome and accommodated us the best way they could. They had good suitcase storage and this was perfect to be able to leave the cases there and explore the city before checkin. There was a kettle in the room but, we were also told we could get tea and coffee from the dining room free of charge too. However, one member of staff wasn’t aware that guests were allowed tea and coffee from the dining room and he wanted to charge me. This was resolved quickly but, it did make me feel awkward about getting another drink from there. not a major issue and it hasn’t put me off going back. The rooms are comfortable and clean which is the main thing.

The only issue I had is there sadly is no lift in the property but, we had a disabled person in our group. I’m not sure if there is a double/twin room on the ground floor. a family had a ground floor room so they might only have family rooms at the bottom.

The location was fantastic, just a few steps away from the Amsterdam Museum and H'ART Museum. I was on the fourth floor, though the steps were quite steep (and there was no elevator), I regularly walk so it wasn't a problem for me. The view of the canal outside was lovely. The heating worked fantastically in my room (which is a big plus for me since I get chronically cold). The staff were very helpful, and the price was amazing considering I booked it for over 3 nights only a day before arriving. The room I had was perfect for one person.

The only qualm I have, is that the lock on my door, on the fourth floor, didn't lock. The door automatically locks, as I tested it out going outside and trying to open it. But as a proper safety measure and to give myself peace of mind at night, it would have been better to have it properly lock. Especially as I had this room as a solo female traveller. However, I'm sure the staff would have tried to resolve the issue for me had I brought it up :)

Had a fantastic stay in Amsterdam! The hotel was lovely, and the staff, super friendly and youthful. The bonus? A kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea every day. Plus, it's conveniently close to the tram and just a hop away from the city center. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located on a quiet street just next to a small canal and the Amstel River. It's close to the metro station and completely walkable to the Amsterdam Center. They cleaned the room every day, and the whole hotel was very clean. Our room had a view of the canal, and only on the 2nd floor so not a lot of climbing ( there is no elevator).

The room's front door is not soundproof; you can hear everyone walking, talking, and climbing the stairs. It was lucky that the hotel was not full of noisy, drunk tourists, but that could have been a problem.

Ideal location right on the Amstel River, walking distance from everything. Simple but clean and comfortable room that fit the whole family

Everythinggg! The large double room was very spacious and luckily we got the room facing the tunnel so it was very pretty scenery. Owner/receptionist were very friendly. It also nearby with the public transport and other main tourist attractions. Will repeat this hotel again if I went back here.

Unfortunately the stairs :(. The stairs were very narrow so if you got big/heavy luggage, that will be a troublesome. I would recommend to bring small luggage or just backpack.
