The venue is modern, rooms look renovated, parking in the hotel possible and at a good discounted rate if room booked directly with the hotel, however the train stop is also around the corner. Nice wellness and gym. Also the neighbourhood offers lots of eating options. Overall a nice stay.

My stay was nothing short of amazing. I travelled for a concert and the hotel was 15 minutes away from the arena and 35 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal. Everything is a short cab ride away, upside down museum being an 8 minute walk!!! The panoramic room is a TikTok haven! And such a lovely comfortable room. The staff accommodated my check in request at short notice and I was very happy about that after travelling very early! 10/10 stay and I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends

We love Amsterdam and the location where this hotel is, works perfectly for us. We have stayed around the same location previously as well and the ease of getting the tram is amazing. We drove by our car and since the Hotel is outside the busy city region, it was super easy to reach their and park your car. You just need to pay a fee of 25 Euro per day for parking but for us it was worth it. And you get till 6 pm on your checkout day to take you car out of the car park. The room was really spacious and value for money. The lighting was very good and also the big window was amazing.

We could not use the coffee machine as it was dirty and had a lot of lime scale marks. Seems like it was not used for a very long time.

Our stay at Van der Valk Hotel Zuidas in Amsterdam was overall enjoyable. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The service was good, from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the general atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and stylish.

Unfortunately, the room was uncomfortably warm. Even though we set the air conditioning to 18°C, it still felt too hot during the night, and we ended up sweating. Additionally, the pillows were far too big and uncomfortable, which caused both my husband and me to wake up with neck pain. This significantly affected the quality of our sleep.

The hotel is situated in a quiet and modern neighborhood with great public transport links — it takes just 10 minutes to reach the center of Amsterdam. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast is tasty, though not very varied, as the same food is served each day.

The bathtub wasn’t properly cleaned — there were visible marks from dirty water left by the previous guest, so unfortunately we didn’t feel comfortable using it.

Amazing saunas on the top floor with a great view to the city. Available from 16:00-22:00 on weekdays. Almost no people there on the weekdays. Close to Rai, so convenient to stay if you have an event at Rai and overall quick commute to the city center.

Breakfast could have been better. Almost no fresh vegetables, fruits and berries. The once’s that were available were low quality. The lighting system in the room is weirdly designed. You either have too much light or too little. I lived on the floor where all the hotel staff hangs out during the day. So felt a bit uncomfortable to stumble upon the staff all the time when I was going back to my room.

Location is great - easy access and the area is very walkable. The food in both the brasserie and the a la carte restaurant is excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and efficient - I felt welcomed

Cleanliness in the bedroom could have been significantly better. the coffee/tea area had coffee and tea dust, sugar granules lying around, there were stains (soap or lotion ? ) around the sink area and the work table was dirty

I had a very comfortable stay at Van der Valk RAI. It was close to the conference venue and had a tram stop right outside the hotel where Tram number 4 Comes which makes travelling to the city centre and main train station very convenient. This made sightseeing also very easy. Buffet Breakfast was very good and Wifi worked very well. Over all the hotel is good value for money and close (few min walking distance) to RAI convention centre and transport hubs such as tram, metro and train station. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again…

Staff attending breakfast buffet counters can be more friendly and personable to make the experience better…

Location is great, close to RAI. The self-service shop at the entrance is a great feature and was very useful after hours. The design of the room is useful, modern and has a cool touch. Breakfast and the buffet was also very nice.

The only downfall about the stay was Booking.com and not the hotel. I wanted to reduce my stay by a night which Booking.com commented as not possible due to "no availability" and they wanted to charge the full price - for deleting a night! It then became apparent that the hotel had actually approved this request without charge but Booking.com wanted to charge extra! Unbelievable with the dumbest reason given...

hotel has a range of good amenities, the rooms were very nice and the spa facility / gym was excellent. the hotel was clean and well maintained. food was always very good.

no 24 hour room service available, the room service charge is expensive too - unnecessary given the food prices themselves. breakfast was good but their could be more selection. noted on 3 occasions a QR code was missing from the room to easier order room service - no one followed up and seemed a hassle calling reception - the one in the room was just an info QR code and not an ordering one. staff were overall just good - no one seemed to be too enthusiastic about anything really. would I go back - probably on the flip side of this all - I'm not used to city break hotels - and usually spend hotel time in resorts on family holidays - so I maybe should have lower expectations ?
