We had a fantastic stay at WesterVilla Amsterdam. The location is lovely—tucked away in a quiet part of the city with beautiful surroundings, yet still within easy reach of central Amsterdam. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

It was a bit of a shame that the nearby bus line was temporarily out of service during our stay, which made getting around slightly less convenient, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and scenic base while exploring the city!

Loved the spaciousness of the room in a quiet, peaceful location. The rooms were very well soundproofed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way for us. We so enjoyed the dinner we had in the restaurant there. Excellent Italian food. And, most important, the beds were very comfortable and the coffeemaker was perfect.

It was not air conditioned as I expected from my booking, so we had to open the unscreened windows to breathe, which brought in a few insects, mosquitos included. There was no iron or ironing board, which I thought it was supposed to. Getting to and from Amsterdam central was a longer walk than we would have liked but there was public transportation and because we are both 75, we opted to spend extra on ubers. If not for these considerations, it would have received our highest grade.

Quite place, fancy vibes, easy check in and very nice staff

The receptionist lady was a bit pissed off when i called to say that i will need to check in after 23:59 and first thing she said no we can't do that, then when i told her that there is no way to make it there earlier and that i am still on my way from Germany so she suggested to leave my room key in a safe outside What botherd me is the fact that these outside safes where an option from the beginning and she tried not to help first untill i begged!!! By the way i am a frequent customer and i always book the double deluxe room with balcony, so i would of appreciated a nicer treatment. Overall, i really like this place and appreciate the great service they offer Highly recommended

The room was very nice. The bathroom was huge, clean, modern and spa-like with an excellent shower. The room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable. There was a very steep flight of stairs to get to our room. Staff brought our luggage up for us, which was very nice. Unfortunately we had to leave before staff arrived on departure day, so we had to wrestle it down the stairs ourselves. It was a bit of a walk to get the tram to the downtown area, but the "tram area" had a few stores and lots of food options and it wasn't difficult to get into the centre of town. It was a very quiet location. It was good for two nights before our cruise. We're not sure about a longer stay as there was no storage space so one would have to keep everything in suitcases. We would consider staying here again. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

We didn't like the steep stairs, but that's to be expected in an older building. Staff didn't arrive until the restaurant opened. It would have been nice if staff had been available earlier but we understand why there was no staff available at all hours as this isn't a regular hotel.

Beautiful location in a park. Large window overlooking a view of trees. Great air conditioning with a large bright bathroom. Very good WiFi service. Friendly staff. Convenient to downtown Amsterdam. Wonderful selection of good restaurants within walking distance.

Having to leave Amsterdam

Lovely clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Just about 30mins walk to centre. Great breakfast 10mins walk away to a bakery that did beautiful scones.

Very difficult to find. We were travelling on motorbike and saw Nandos. Maps was indicating it was there but no sign of it. We drove all around and still no sign. I eventually went in to Nando to ask where it was and they said "this is it". A big sign would be helpful that can be seen from the road or even from the carpark.

The staff were excellent and helpful. The food was very good, and with a menu which was appealing. The location and ambiance exceeded my expectations. Very easy to access by car, and the centre of Amsterdam is very walkable from the hotel. We would definitely return.

1 The stairs to our room were very steep. Ok for us, but would not work for everyone. 2 No fridge in the room. 3 No breakfast, but we walked to local supermarket to pick up pastries, or visited cafe.

We loved the staff, the room was pleasant and clean. The food at the restaurant was very good. The hotel was away from the crowds of the city which was a plus and minus. It was very quiet with beautiful grounds.

Since the hotel has a restaurant I assumed that they served breakfast. I was wrong, it doesn’t open until 11:30. The walk to the area with cafes restaurants, train station, canal boats was about a 20 min walk away. A bus goes by but we didn’t want to hassle with it. We took an Uber on the day we left since we had suitcases.

Hi. So, simple, everything was top class. Hotel, parking, bus station across .. ( 10 min to Central station with bus 21 ), store few minutes walking on left or right, restaurant, balcony, bed like a cloud, that shiny Dutch girl.. Peace and quit only few km from Central Station, Priceless. The best possible place to stay in Amsterdam for Me even I'm living in Ermelo :D

The WesterVilla was very very cozy and we come back for sure! The staff was very kind, the location very well (bus 21 in front, more after 5-8min walking). We did not try the food, but the restaurant looked very romantic at night.

Wifi could have been better/stronger in our room as well as the smell of a smoking neighbor or so below our window (probably from balcony) was not so nice. But that may have just been a bit unfortunate timing. Rest was just great and a very nice place to stay for a weekend!
