There are two options, you can have your own facility’s and access to the garage on the right or be in the house and share a bathroom with them. We chose the former and it was perfect for me and my mum. We could come and go as we please.The hosts were absolutely lovely, though they only speak Dutch. Food in the mini fridge and fresh towels were given everyday. The location is literally a 5 min walk to the subway which we used very frequently. The bathroom is actually a wet room, but it functions just fine. All in all, it was a lovely experience, Rotterdam, Poortugaal and Spijkenisse were lovely and would love to visit again. The room had AC and a radiator, a TV, an Iron, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge and a few other bits.

A quiet location where you can park the car safely and for free. The landlady was very nice although she didn't speak English. It's easy to travel into Rotterdam as there's a station nearby.

We booked a room that was advertised as having a private bathroom. This was not the case. The bathroom was outside the room and was shared with another bedroom opposite. Also the toilet was not in the bathroom but down some steep stairs on the ground floor. The breakfast wasn't great - processed and packaged food left in the room.

It is located in a very nice and quiet area, walking distance from public transport which takes you in every direction.

There was nothing I didn’t like. From a practical point of view not having a washing machine can be a bit difficult if you stay for a few weeks but Herma was lovely and offered to do some washing for me.

Cozy place and nice little room, lovely garden where you could chill and read or listen to music. The hosts were delightful and really sweet.

Good location far from the city centrum with easy access by metro D-line. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, all necessary kitchen facilities available.

The owners of valckesteyn were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, even if we didn't speak the same language!

Great room and breakfast waiting for us was amazing. The owner of the house is the nicest person ever. Room is very good equipped, even with a coffee machine, a fridge and a lot more. Highly recommended!

The location was great. We were in the area for a family reunion and the B&B was very close. The breakfast items were wonderful.

It was very practical I had the breakfast stored in my own fridge, so I could decide for myself when to have my breakfast. In combination with the own key and own bathroom, made my stay very flexible and comfortable.

More options for the breakfast (which was good anyway). The rest was very nice.

Very nice location, very peaceful. Clean and comfy with a very nice and good breakfast (plenty of in the breakfast). Free parking.
