It's a nice and clean hotel that might look a bit old from the outside, but it is quite new on the inside. The staff has been absolutely friendly, helpful and very kind. The room, a single, well, it is a single room :) nothing special but still comfortable with all you need: there's not a fridge, at least in this room. Liked a lot the touch sreem mirror in the bathroom. The balcony is definitely a super plus!!! It is located about 5/6 minutes walking from Coolhaven Metro station. Lastly, the area is quite silent. I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Port!

Nothing, all was fine! Ok, just to be very very fussy: in the room there were 1 teabag and 1 sachet of instant coffee: it would be nice to put maybe 2/3 each. Anyway, it's just enough to ask the lovely cleaning crew and they will provide you with more teabags/coffee sachets. I took it as a positive message: being Italian, they probably didn't put more than 1 sachet of instant coffee, to avoid insulting me :)))

The front desk staff was very helpful in getting my room available a bit early. The location while away from the city center had both a tram and metro stop close by. My room was on the third floor so having an elevator in the building was a definite plus. The breakfast was served starting at 7:00 on weekdays and 8:00 on weekends which was great. The buffet selection was nice with a good variety of items. There were an adequate number of outlets in the room.

The bed was very uncomfortable (quite soft and sagged in the middle) making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The single bed cover was very heavy. My single room was quite small with hardly any place to unpack. There were two drawers in the bathroom which helped but not convenient. There was a small table lamp on the desk, but it needed to be charged but no cord was attached. I happened to have an extra cord which I used.

Great location, clean, perfectly working wifi, bathroom, extremely nice staff. A stone's throw from Coolhaven and many coffee shops and other amenities. Definitely recommend.

The street exposure paired with only a heavy curtain meant that I was either exposed to anyone passing or in the dark. Not ideal for getting ready in the morning, but a very minor issue.

Very friendly stuff. Very communicative, flexible and helpful. We stayed for 3 days at the whirlpool room. I asked due to celebration reasons, if I could get the room romantically decorated. It got nicely done and free of charge. Impeccably clean hotel and rooms (great housekeeping team). Well located, close to all the tram lines and the Q-Park parking house (5min walk). The balcony and the room size were big for a hotel room & for dutch standards. We loved it. And the open view. Minibar, air condition, heating system, fan, were a huge plus. Felt really like I am at my house. Also a plus was the quantity and variety of coffee sticks and tea bags.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Sitting out on the balcony was a plus. Having a/c meant the room was more comfortable for sleeping. The staff were friendly and helpful. Transport was close by and was walking distance to Delfshaven. While the shower was large the bathroom was tiny.

Efficiently run hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly. There was building work going on so the area outside the door to my room was very dusty etc. Good shower with two heads. The room was basic but clean. The metro station is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away and a couple of bars . The hotel suited me fine for my 3 night stay. I would stay again.

I didn't not like - but Coolhaven is what Rotterdam residents call an area 'in transition'. I didn't feel unsafe but currently there is not much in the area. The curtains in my room were really thin and kept little of the light out.

Good location, enough space in the room for the price, and friendly staff.

The curtains hover over the bed, and the bed and pillows might appear too soft. There was active renovation in the neighboring room (loud during the day, with a dirty hall and construction waste), but it was most likely temporary.

I liked that the room was super clean. I had the best sleep in Hotel Port thanks to their blackout curtains and air conditioning. 10/10. The patio/mini garden was also so nice to sit at and sunbathe.

Maybe supply better soap, shampoo and conditioner?
