Cozy room, lovely location at the moat. Outside of the center but accesible with a half-hour walk. The rooms were clean with good amount of privacy and utilities. Checking in and out with a reservation is very quick and easy. Perfect for introverts who don't need a lot.

In the small room where I stayed there is no bedside table so relaxing with a drink or snack becomes difficult. You can sit at the table where the tea and coffee are but space is limited and you cannot recline there.

I liked the air scent as i stepped into the hallway. The easiness of the check in. The whole place is like a song for the senses and i was feeling so relaxed that i forgot my key card in the room. Twice 😅 the kind man from the phone helped me do another quick and easy. Everything in the Hotel feels right and of quality, and i appreciated and enjoyed every detail of my stay. Definitely will come back whenever Rotterdam city calls me ❤️

Hm, if i am to be really picky, i didn't like the plastic flowers on the room. I would have appreciated one simple flower but real.

Charming room with a comfy bed, modern post-industrialization style of furnishing in a 1920s building, a unique blend of history and future. Location is superb, walking distance to Erasmus MC and cozy cafés. Very efficient personneel to help with making thr key card.

If I have to nitpick, I'd say the lack of an elevator limits the amount of luggage one can bring. But then again I only had a backpack. Another thing is that the shower switch was a bit stiff to turn. But I managed without breaking anything.

The room is clean, comfortable, and actually a lot nicer than I expected. I really recovered well after a week in the room, post-Mysteryland, pre and post-Rotterdam Rave Festival, even with a couple of wfh days in between. Location is also quite excellent: close enough to the center to be minutes away from the good foodie/restaurant area but far enough to ensure some peace and quiet.

Location and responsive staff

Check-in process was a nightmare. I received close to a dozen emails from the hotel prior to arrival. Watch the youtube video, download the app and all that. Still my app didn’t let me open the room door. I went back down stairs from the three floor, redid my check-in at the kiosk (took me ages to figure out where is the confirmation code), and eventually called the service. The help came quickly and the problem was solved. I stayed at many unmanned hotels. None of them had such a complicated/ botched process. My advice: forget abut JustIn.

The hotel room was comfortable and spacious enough for one person. The double bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Plenty of sockets as well for charging. Shower was great and modern. Aircon worked great and also could open the windows if wanted to. I also must say that Sam, the owner and person i was communicating with over Whatsapp was very responsive and helpful.

Despite communication being really good and Sam being able to help me through that, I did have a lot of trouble with the self-check in. I understood it was self-check in and I have done many in my past travels with no issues, however, I wasn't a fan of this system's. As a traveller from overseas, I have a data only sim card. To check-in you will need a sim card that can receive SMS in order for you to verify to collect the virtual key. Thankfully, Sam was great and was able to help me through an alternate means.

size and comfort of the room, comfortable bed, nice view to a back-garden from the window. good facilities as well (coffee machine, boiler, coffee capsules and tea). Common kitchen for all the tenants was an asset.

the cleaning could have been better. realised that the towels were not being changed, but just refolded, even though I had left one aside to be changed. I have also tried to open the window to refresh the air but it was impossible to do it.

Checking in and out was easy. Accessing the building via mobile was great. Also, being able to contact the helpdesk via WhatsApp was very handy, and they were quick to respond. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower in particular was immense!

The room spec said there was a shared kitchen, however, there were no cooking or food storage facilities. It was a sink and cupboards full of extra amenities for the room. I didn't mind this, but came with a certain expectation of being able to prepare meals during my stay.

The room was lovely and quiet. Bed very comfortable.

We had to trek up 3 flights of very steep stairs as our room was on the top floor. As we are seniors in our 70's, we would have appreciated knowing that in advance so that we could request a different room. Also, perhaps a good supply of tea and coffee for morning/evening.

The location is very nice, we also got a view to the river. Size of room was about right. The shower is not thought through, the water was spilling inside of the room.

The self checkin was bit problematic. We did not get the pin for entrance as was written in email, but fortunately one of the staff let us in.
