During our trip across New Zealand, we had the pleasure of staying at the Tresori Motor Lodge in Akaroa, and I must say, it was one of the highlights of our journey. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and helpfulness that made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and comfortable. It provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings of Akaroa. One of the standout features of our room was the luxurious spa bathtub, which was a delightful way to unwind and soak in the peaceful vibes of the area. Location-wise, Tresori Motor Lodge is ideally situated, making it easy to access various attractions around the town. The convenience of having parking on-site was an added bonus, as it took away any stress related to car security and parking space availability. Overall, Tresori Motor Lodge is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Akaroa. Whether it's the attentive staff, the well-appointed rooms, or the prime location, this motel ensures a memorable and relaxing stay. It's definitely one of the best motels we visited during our trip across New Zealand. Highly recommended!

Located close to village cafes and shops. Just a short 6min stroll to the main shops alongside the beachfront. We had an upstairs room. Stairs only to them. Good large size tv in our room. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Recommend this accommodation.

The fan was quite dusty when we pulled it away from behind the tv. Initially faced it towards the wall to get rid of the dust after turning it on! One of the bedside tables also dusty. The cabinet which houses the microwave oven, is a problem as you have to hold the cabinet door up, while you open the microwave door to retrieve your food. Body wash container in the shower was near empty and needed replenishing. As we were there only 1 night, we used the hand-basin hand wash instead.

We came over for me and my partner 5th anniversary we have stayed here previously and we rebooked as It’s a prime location very central to everything only 2 minute walk to the Main Street. The staff were lovely to deal with nothing was an issue definitely wish we stayed longer than we had booked for.

That we didn’t not stay long enough as we came over to relax and have time away but having to wake up on the finally morning in Akaroa and it was a beautiful day and we were leaving made it sad to go back to reality

Peaceful and handy location, easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants. Spacious, clean rooms. Comfortable beds and a nice, powerful shower.

Just a plug in fan in the lounge so it was hard to get to a comfortable temperature on a warm day in the larger unit. Some minor fixtures/fittings requiring repair/replacement (light bulbs, toilet flusher etc), which one would expect to be in order for the price charged, but not a deal breaker.

Right from the very warm welcome at reception from Tom the owner, to a wondefully clean spacious suite with seperate bathroom and spa bath. Thought I was staying at 5 star 🌟 hotel. Loved the fresh linen with crisp hotel sheets on the bed. Felt safe and secure as travelling solo. Only 2 minutes walk to township for a morning coffee and croissant. Fabulous stay. Location was excellent.

Cleanliness in the bathroom. The fridge had not been defrosted in a long time. The condition of the freezer compartment was disgusting. No hand soap supplied. The booking confirmation said we had been allocated the "honeymoon suite" on the ground floor. However, we were in fact given a standard room on the first floor? The windowsill in the bathroom is rotten and needs attention.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

We loved the location. It was quiet as we were the only ones there due to the off peak season. Place was nice and clean and the owners were nice and friendly. Even gave us a room with an extra bed.

Just purely my preference: bed was a bit hard and the pillows just weren't helping my neck. Wished there was a heat pump in the room. Although there was an electric blanket, the room was quite cold throughout the night.

Great sized room with a huge bed was fantastic. Had all facilities required for ideal stay. Harbour front/shops etc just down the road

shower not enclosed so even with curtains pulled made floor terribly wet. Didn't like the idea of writing down my credit card details and leaving them out in the 'open' in the reception that other people could access. would rather do face to face check in or take payment online beforehand like normal motels

The location was fine, just one street back from the waterfront. The room was a good size, light bright and airy, with an excellent bathroom. Good value for money. Overall very good accommodation. A kitchenette was fitted with enough for basic self catering exactly as described.

The smoke alarm/ censor in the ceiling above the bed had a small light that kept flashing at regular intervals through the night. But this wouldn't be a problem for most people.
