Cromwell Getaway is a very reasonable price for the location and amenities. The set-up wasn't what we were expecting but it worked well for us. The bedroom and bathroom were quite small but with the edition of the second room/dining room and semi kitchen facilities, it gave more space. There was also another TV in the second room. This suite is next to the owners portion of the house but we didn't feel any lack of privacy, the only slight annoyance was the hallway outside our door was also the hallway that guests checked into so if you were asleep there was a bit of a disturbance but thats if you went to bed before 10pm. I would recommend this Hotel for it's good pricing, location and friendly host.

In general, the rooms were clean but the bathroom shower where the soaps were and the top of the shower dome were dirty/dusty. The pillows didn't have alot of substance to them.

The apartment was very quiet once the double doors from the front door were closed and the door from the bedroom (which contained 2 single beds) was shut. The main room was large and the double bed comfortable. It felt very homely. The towels were very soft. There was access to a pool which unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use. It was close to a mall with a lot of food options. We just felt that the owners added something extra; it’s hard to say exactly what it was, but we felt that this accommodation was a notch above other similarly priced motels.

We were only passing through Cromwell on our long journey home and this studio room was perfect for us. Very clean, tidy and modern with lots of space to move around. There was a pool which we didn’t use but pool towels were provided. A very comfortable nights stay. Will definitely book again if stopping in Cromwell

Our very first stay when we flew into Queenstown. It's very well furnished with wheelchair access & bathrooms. Everything is in good working order. Like the heated towel rails, soft white towels, the pool from our unit, kitchen facilities, excellent wifi, firm beds with clean sheets, car park & great hostess. Near to restaurants, supermarket & regional touristy attractions. So much so, we stayed here again before we flew back to Australia.

Absolutely amazing. Super clean, perfect set up, everything you need. Lovely outdoor area. The best quality linen and super soft towels. Within walking distance to many local restaurants. Glenda was responsive to every inquiry we had prior to arrival. You won't find better accommodation at this price anywhere else in Cromwell. An absolute gem.

The room was really lovely and how it was set out was too. The court yard was really nice and private.

The bed had a mattress protector on it that caused a great deal of heat during the night and was uncomfortable and made me itch all night. When I looked at the protector in the morning it was backed with plastic like a plastic bag. It was like a baby mattress protector. Just awful.

This was a very nice place for us. We were just passing through and needed a location/place that was a convenient position for us to stop at for a rest. It was very well equipt and the bed was superb. The very good Fish and chips shop was just a few minutes away which is want we needed after a long travelling day.

No negatives, great spot for a convenient stopover.

Great location and good recommendations from the host for local places to eat. Called us the day we left as they thought we left a phone charger behind so really good honest folk, highly recommended to stay here. This is a room part of a house completely private to other rooms. Would go back!

For us, the bed wasn't super great but that was probably personal preference. Otherwise, great.

Thank you Glenda for a wonderful stay in Cromwell. Your cozy room was everything we needed for the night. It felt like everything had been very well thought out from the comfy bed right down to the antifog on the bathroom mirror! Highly recommend for a night in Cromwell.

The location of course couldn't be better, although we were worried about road noise. However, with both front doors closed there was no road noise. The host(ess) was extremely gracious and kept our cold goods in her frig after we checked out so we could do a cycle trek during the day. That was exceptionally kind of her.

The water pressure in the shower was weak. There wasn't anything else to complain about
