Staying at the Queensberry Inn and meeting Jennie and her family (Poppy too, of course) has been the highlight of my trip. Their generosity and friendliness made me feel so welcome I decided to stay longer than I had initially planned. The property is stunning and very relaxing. The room is lovely and full of really thoughtful details that, along with Jennie’s delightful breakfast, will make you realize what an absolute bargain a night at the Queensberry Inn is. I left with the feeling of not having been merely a guest but rather feeling I connected with lovely genuine people, which is a gift for anyone but even more so for those of us solo travelers. It was extremely comfortable and roomy in the Cottage Room. The inn is in a picturesque setting and the hosts are lovely (including Poppy the dog!). The room was well appointed, exceptionally clean, and it is clear a lot of thought and care has gone into the accommodation. It was really handy to have breakfast provided and also have a fridge available. Thank you Jennie and Ged

The breakfast was very nice and the owners worked in with us to suit my work schedule. The location was great for a nice quiet relaxing night. And being on a farm it was good to see a few animals and play with the dog. The owners were very friendly and great hosts. They were only too happy to help where they could.

The hosts know that the wifi and broadband is not where they would like it to be and they are working on getting that sorted, But it was still workable when required.

Can’t recommend the Queensbury Inn enough. Jennie and Ged are wonderful hosts and the property is a delight. A great base to explore the local sights, and easy to get to Wānaka. You are sleeping in a part of NZ’s history, and Jennie makes a mean breakfast with eggs from her chickens. Best place we’ve stayed on our tour of South Island!

Lovely bed linen with very comfortable bed. Great breakfasts and beautifully presented. Location is great..midway between Cromwell and Wanaka. Very peaceful setting to relax. Cleanliness was excellent. Spacious room. So enjoyed the renovated Stable room and decor. Lovely, friendly hosts.

We had a very comfortable night stay here, facilities were lovely with snacks, teas and dressing gowns! The owner was very kind and helpful - even late at night when I was struggling to get the internet to work (which resolved!). The owner brought a lovely breakfast to our room in the morning.

Absolutely fantastic, breakfast choice of cooked or continental very full filing. So looking forward to my next stay. The owners are just the best. Just loved everything about it. Make sure you bring your nibble food and wine to enjoy from the get go. You wont want to leave.

Excellent hosts. Super friendly and helpful. Amazing accommodation for a romantic getaway. Had bacon, scrambled eggs and toast each morning which was delicious. Very quiet location which was what we were seeking. Highly recommend.

Beautiful old stable conversion full of charm and comfort. Jennie & Ged were fabulous hosts providing lots of info about this wonderful part of the world. Breakfast offerings were great and with the fabulous weather, eating outside was a great start to our days. Really wonderful time.
