This is a beautiful location, and the accommodation incredibly cozy and full of charm. A beautiful place to wake up, and have a quiet and relaxed breakfast before starting your day in Wānaka or heading off to the ski fields. The hosts have put a lot of thought and care into crafting the stay, and it shows. I could easily have stayed for days and days more.

The WiFi was a bit unintuitive - and seemed to work for some things but not others on my phone (though it didn't impact the streaming services on the TV at all). I ended up using mobile data so it wasn't an issue but might have been if you were relying on the WiFi for anything.

The cabin is on a private property with 2 other cabins close by. The view of the mountains is stunning. It is a short 5 min drive to town, but you could walk. It was very quiet, but then we also were the only people at the accommodation. I would feel a little less comfortable if the other buildings were occupied as they were very close together. The kitchen had a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. The lounge/dining area was perfectly adequate and the house decorated nicely. We even had a carport for the car which we appreciated as it rained while we were there.

The house was quite cold, even with the aircon heater and radiators on. There is a fireplace but no firewood to light. That was a shame. So we were a bit cold at night. The kitchen while equipped with appliances, could do with a few extra dishes and cooking utensils to make self-catering a little easier.

Had a lovely stay at this lodge just on the outskirts of Wānaka, set in a very beautiful garden. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The views from the room are stunning on a clear day. We loved the location, being just on the outskirts, as when you then head in to town, you get the amazing view of the lake and mountain backdrop. We also very much appreciated having some washing and drying facilities for our clothes.

The WiFi would not work on our iPhones for reasons we could not identify. A shame that there is not more of a kitchenette area, as would be nice to make dinner in the evening. Felt a little strange not interacting with any staff on arrival or throughout our stay, but we were able to navigate and access what we needed.

Large room and bathroom, very well appointed, tastefully furnished and decorated - definitely a warm, upmarket feel. We left a large umbrella behind and the exceptionally kind lady I dealt with on the phone (never in person) subsequently dropped it off at our lodge in Queenstown. That was service above and beyond. Sincere thanks. A much quieter location than more central options. Nice gardens and outdoor options (BBQ, etc). Pleasant views across the valley.

It was quite hard to find in the dark, with a narrow gate and minimalist signage. The absence of staff on site at the late hour made it more difficult to find our room and get into it. A bit out of town but not far.

We had beautiful views of the green hills and sheep on the neighboring property. The room was cozy and private perfect for our honeymoon stay. We also used the laundry room which was provided for free and came with laundry detergent!

Nothing really, but please note that there is no room service provided and you would have to actively ask for extra tea/coffee/milk if necessary (we had enough for our 3 day stay so we didn't need to ask).

Lovely studio apartment in a very quiet setting. A 3km pleasant walk from town. Parking very close to the door. Enormous and extremely comfortable bed. Facilities for tea, coffee and (light) breakfast making. Nice bathroom and shower.

Three minor things. The path from the car to the door has a steep concrete section. Strangely, a hose pipe was across the path, so it potentially presented a trip hazard, especially when carrying luggage. Secondly there is a cafetiere for making coffee (a Nespresso machine too), but the cafetiere was tiny. A full-sized one would be much better for two people. Finally, there are electric blankets on the bed - one either side. One of these had been left on and I did not know this until I tried to get into bed. As it was summer, I had to switch it off and then wait for it to cool down. But it really should not have been left switched on.

Great and quiet location with good access to nearby town center for services. The deers, hares and cows in the farm next to house give the stay a nice back to nature feel. A well furnished house overall. The house has great views and unblocked in all directions. And perhaps because of it being unblocked, the house is exposed to strong winds.

Perhaps the only area to improve is to provide table top space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Liked the split level layout of the room, balcony and view

Minimal cutlery and crockery , just two of each spoons, teaspoons, knife and fork and same for crockery. No knife to cut any bread or fruit for example and a bread board would have been helpful and also jug to heat some milk. Although office stated ‘open no one was about to enquire regarding additional utensils.

Bed was comfortable, great to have microwave and crockery. Gardens were lovely to walk around. Great to have access to laundry.

Walls too busy, recommend removing some of the large wall hangings as bright colours on wall clashed with wall hangings. Felt that it was harder to relax with the clashes of colour. The view outside was so much more relaxing
