The owners are so friendly, and readily available to answer questions. The property has bikes which are free for guests to use, and a hot tub, both of which really enhanced my stay. The whole place has a really nice atmosphere, and I enjoyed the communal spaces, plus amazing views of the night sky from the garden.

No dislikes. Just be aware that if you're on foot, it's about 30 mins walk from town, though that's very achievable as it's mostly flat and a beautiful walk along the lake, and that does have the benefit of putting it nearer That Wanaka Tree and Roy's Peak.

The property is located a bit outside the town center, but still not far from the lake and the famous That Wanaka Tree. The place is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen—which had an impressive amount of utensils and appliances, more than enough for any kind of cooking. The shared common area was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable.

Staff was LOVELY, very kind and attentive. The place was great, very clean, spacious, attention to detail…Perfect location. We like to have private bathrooms but here even though it was shared, it was still very good, clean and well looked after. The whole place is very clean and warm. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Kitchen has everything that you need and a dishwasher!! Cupboard and fridge are divided by rooms which is great! So well organised and clean. We only stayed a few hours as we got there late in the evening and left pretty early… wish we had more time. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Cozy and vibing accomodation. *Staff- so accomodating, friendly and approacheable. * Room- booked a room for 3 adults, it was . The room was clean and have a comfortable beds ( queen and single bed). The room was not quite spacious but still it is okay for 3 people with luggages. Heater is available as well. *Kitchen- very impressive, super tidy, organised and clean. Fully equipped and you can cook food until 9pm. Toilet- shared bathroom and toilet. Gents/ladies bathroom/toilet was so clean and organised as well.Body wash already provided. Hairdryer is available as well. * Location- 11 mins walked to Wanaka Tree. 3 to 4 mins drive. 6 mins drive to Groceries ( Super world)- drive 7 to 8 mins drive to Puzzling World-drive 10 mins to Lavender Farm-drive Overall, it is amazing! 10/10

Shared kitchen was spacious & well equipped with cooking utensils and cooking oils as well as Asian spices. The owner really cares for each detail in the kitchen and we are really surprised by his complete tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen areas. The best shared kitchen in New Zealand I have used during our trip! Share bathroom also clean and tidy. The living room with wooden construction is quite really nice. The lodge is located in a peaceful and quite street filled with autumn vibes, really beautiful lodge in Wanaka. It is very close to the downtown and easy to walk. Highly recommended! We wish we could stay here much longer! Next time, I would definitely stay here when having a chance to come back to Wanaka. Thank you so much!

This hostel had everything you need - clean, comfy rooms, and a shared kitchen. There was plenty of allocated space in the kitchen for each room, and I cooked easily in the evening. It is a good location, being a short drive from both Lake Wanaka and scenic walking routes, the town area and also the start of Roys Peak climb. Shared bathrooms were clean and spacious. Good value for money for solo travellers who want an entire room in a central location.

I could hear some noise though the walls, but I have ear plugs and didn't cause much issue sleeping. But then these things always have to be weighed up against value for money, having a whole room for a solo traveller and the location, as you can't have everything!

The hosts were super friendly , explained all that we needed to know. The bedroom area was clean and comfy. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped! We were able to prep meals well, plus cook up some vegan burgers for the next stage of the trip. Washing and drying facilities were excellent. Although the bathroom was shared, they were clean and never had to wait for facilities. Although I did;t get a chance to jump in the spa it looked lovely and clean ( I especially liked the way the host very politely asked the guests to wrap up their spa at 9pm to give guests some peace and quiet from the spa motor). Thankyou it was a surprisingly good stay.

Loved this property - the owners were so kind and welcoming. They are a machine! Pretty sure it’s just the 2 of them turning over rooms and doing everything! The place is so sparkling clean, kitchen is well stocked with equipment and there’s a lovely garden area to hang out in. The washing machine was huge and we managed to wash all of our clothes in one go for $4 and hang it all outside to dry (they have pegs). We stayed for 4 nights and were sad to say goodbye! The location is a bit out of town but just 15minutes and we enjoyed the walk! Plenty of parking for cars and they even had a hot tub (we just didn’t have time to use it).

Immaculately presented not a thing out of place, enjoyed that you could chat to other guests in a communal lounge room, kitchen facilities were spot on and amenities were very clean. The room was very compact but warm and tidy.

Seemed the management team where do you go on holidays and there was no open fire/slow combustion fire happening in an area where ambience of a fire was a must

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were given a welcome tour when we arrived, which made us feel right at home! The communal areas were spacious, well equipped and clean- we loved the fireplace! Our rooms were cosy and had everything we needed and the shared toilets were spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend staying here on your travels.
