Lots of space for over packers like us! Great shower. Nice quality linen. Ease of entry. Great Parking. Spotlessly clean. Lovely personable staff (owner?). Short 20 ish minute walk to town on a bike/walking path along the golf course and that is slowing to take stunning mountain photos as you go. And if you cut through the golf course farther down, then only 15 minutes to the Iron Mt trail loop which is a must do, as it is magnificent for full surrounding Wanaka views and the mountains further afield. Best meal of our lives available at the Bistro 3 properties over so could just saunter over on foot after a couple apri snow beverages. (Must book in advance as it is a small bistro and they take a credit card deposit of $50 per person for security to book) We wished we had booked here for longer than 3 nights.

From our suite, which probably offered the best mountain view, a few attention to details on the main house also in the same view could be improved in our opinion but thats all it is... our opinion. I would only express that to them directly and specifically if they were interested to know. We loved our stay here and booked again for the last night of our holiday.

Love the quiet and relax environment and away from main road but still very convenient and easy accessible to other shops. Having our own kitchen equipped with all necessary cooking utensils. Towels get changed every two days or everyday if you require.

We run out of hot water during shower on one night. Mattress is soft. Circulation of heating is not even for upper and lower floor. Lower floor is colder. Bathroom door handle for our unit is loose. Parking line is not obvious that causing the car at the next door unit often parks very close or in the middle of the parking area. We have to ask next door unit to move their car.

Unit was well appointed and cosy, views over mountains amazing. Very quiet. Bed was very comfortable & shower great. Everything you needed in the kitchen, all very clean and well presented in the unit. Would be great for skiing holidays.

Grounds looked tired and unkept, on arrival a bit disappointed as no one to meet you. Did not look like photos as advertised to the grounds. No information on arrival or in rooms? A bistro is a couple of doors up from accommodation & we did not know 🤔. It's not easy to find the driveway when coming back from town in the dark. Rooms are good though 👍

A comfortable self-contained unit that had everything we needed for a week in Wanaka. Shona and Sandra looked after us well and attended to all our requests. The accommodation is in a very scenic part of Wanaka across the road from the golf course. Parking the car was convenient and free.

It's probably 1.5km to town, walking is very pleasant but not suitable if you don't like walking and don't have a car. Traffic could be noisy in the early mornings, depending on the unit you are in. (We had the one facing the road) That unit also has the western sun in the afternoon,which was warm in summer.

Quite modern small chalets quite spacious high ceiling. The main double bed is on a mezzanine floor. The bed was great and there was adequate clothes storage. The kitchen area was larger than normal and well equipped. Our unit was facing Norwest, so we had the afternoon sun. So great in winter. The lounge area was also larger than normal and included a comfortable smaller sofa. There was a good size TV. There was one downstairs wall heater that even on high was inadequate to warm the whole until unit. The unit was also double glazed, so it was surprising to us how cold it was. It would be a lovely place to say in summer, but we would never go back in winter.

The hostess and staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet even with a crying baby Nextdoor. Pleasant view. Nice to have a patio area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine,

The facility couldn’t do anything about this…but for other travelers be nice! The host allowed those of us in the main building to put our foodstuffs in the refrigerator. That we thought was so generous. However, another guest moved our ice packs out of the freezer as he stuffed the ENTIRE feeezer with his fish and whatever else he had. So the next day when we were to leave with our ice packs and food..we had no ice. Tourists…be nice to each other. The host was very kind so kudos to her!!

The accommodation is in a beautiful building with fantastic views all around. The check in was very friendly and welcoming. The location is around 15 minutes walk from town but is all downhill. If you don't fancy the ride back up, there are some great tuk tuk taxis you can use which let you choose the music and the volume. Going away from town there are two very nice brewery taps you can visit which are around 15 mins walk away.. Both do food. There is also a wine tasting room just a minutes walk from the property. Wanaka is a wonderful place to visit with so many great local walks such as Mount Iron, Roy's Peak and Rob Roy Glacier.

We stayed in the beautiful lodge and the room was huge and airy with a lovely balcony, dressing room and walk in shower. This gets my vote for the no 1 comfortably large bed! The cheery owner let me use the industrial size washing machine which was a huge blessing 75% of the way through our month trip away. Lovely quiet spot a little way, but walkable, to the restaurants and the lake. Eco friendly lovely toiletries were really appreciated!

Would have, perhaps, preferred the privacy of a chalet. No views from our room. Breakfast was nice but a little basic as I personally like fresh fruit and eggs etc.

We really liked the location which was opposite the golf course and gave us the option of walking into Wanaka (15-20 minutes) avoiding the parking issues in town during peak season The property was well fitted out with a good range of kitchen facilities. We enjoyed the upstairs bedroom which gave the property a roomy feel. The units are on a rural property which provides a feeling of tranquillity given the busy town. We loved Wanaka which has a great vibe with lots of restaurants and cafes.

The lounge needs replacing as you tend to sink into the middle.

Our 2 chalets at 'Golfcourse Road Chalets' were simply magical and so comfortable. Shonna was kind and friendly and the views were simply stunning. Each chalets had 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and ours on the ground floor had an amazing spa tub. The rooms were spacious, bright, well-equipped and well-ventilated - great large rooms with heaps of space and large windows to bring in the beautiful outside. We just loved the feeling of indulgent breathtaking views, our morning coffee with the mountains nad the mist, the easy access to town centre and ample parking. Memorable stay!
