Warm and Nice stay here! Location is the best, convenient to everywhere, easy to restaurants and booking center. Room is warm and tidy, space is more than I expected, enough for two of us. Bed is comfortable as well, also have some facility to cook our food. Will definitely be back next year!!!

The bed was very comfortable and the room large. The tv channels were minimal and we could only really get tv1 & 2. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Internet was free and worked well. The motel was ideally situated as you could walk to all amenities in Fox Glacier.

The motel suited what we needed for our stay. The only addition could have been better tv as it was raining the night we stayed there and there is very little to do in the town at nighttime.

Easy to find, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, close to everything in the (tiny) town, big and spacious, lovely garden outside each room. Kitchenette had everything needed - cutlery, kitchenware, cleaning utensils, microwave, kettle. Toilet was clean and big as well. No problem with carpark. Every room could park one car right in front. Saw a mini bus with a tour group park there as well. Great bonus sunset view of the horizon

Lovely motel in a stunning location. Was a bit apprehensive about booking a spot in Fox rather than Franz Joseph but actually that turned out to be a much better choice. Less hassle with parking, great dining options and much less hectic vibe in this lovely village. Staff at the Westhaven were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Room was nice, good size, fully equipped and nice and clean.

Clean studio in good location.

There was a miscommunication with the office. We asked to come a day early thinking it would be the same price, but we were charged more for the first night than for the second (mid-week). We also lost our king room as we wanted to come a day early and stay in the same room both nights. The management wasn’t very accommodating.

The facilities were great, super comfy, we were upgraded so it was a plus. The kitchenette was complete, they even had an electric pan. The bathroom had a bath spa, really noce touch for an anniversary. The staff was nice, even though we had a bit of a difficulty communicating as the person in charge didnt speak English, but they made it work. Super friendly. It was a lovely stay!

The carpet was a bit dirty, not properly cleaned and the wi fi is not good. We really struggled to have a proper connection.

The hostel is very close to the bus stop, restaurants, and convenience stores, making everything very convenient. The room is clean, and the bed is soft and comfortable. If you need to do laundry, you can pay 6 dollars to use the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. The receptionist at the hostel is a young Chinese man who is very enthusiastic, and he is happy to answer any questions we have.

Very clean and tidy, bed was so comfortable, walking distance to town, parking right outside unit, views of mountains, very pretty with snow in top. Grocery store in town. Would stay again

No information pack re hotel facilities, eg TV channels, nearby restaurants with menus would be helpful, also to say there is a grocery store nearby. There was a booklet re sightseeing places

The hotel is in the middle of town. When we arrived the Manager was very attentive showed us the town map and items of interest and recommended a popular restaurant. The room and bathroom were larger then we expected, with easy access from our car and in a quiet location.

The tiles in the bathroom were mopped, but they need a good scrub. There were a lot of leaves in the courtyard. This can be easily fixed.

The Motel its self if great

Not once while I was at this Motel did I see any staff member, I was greeted when I arrived with a sign stuck to the motels office window telling me which room I was in and that the key was on the table and to simply leave the key in the box when I leave NOT very friendly at all.
