The owners and staff were fabulous. We asked if we could drop our bags off and wait to check in later because we arrived early, but when we got there, our room was ready, so they let us check in early. And if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask, and they were more than willing to help.

Everything was great except slight smell when you showered - think coming from drain? However shower was great awesome water pressure

Wow! All the special touches on top of an already perfect accommodation! We felt well cared for, like old friends. The extra large soaker tub was well appreciated after hiking the Abel Tasman. Quiet, despite being next to the road, with lovely little private patio and garden. Short stroll along the river to the grocery for dinner makings. Couldn't have been better.

Easy walking distance to restaurants, cafe's & shops etc. The manager was friendly and extremely helpful, accommodating our late arrival and also holding bags the next day until we were ready to depart for the airport.

The location was excellent - a 2 minute walk into town. The unit was spacious and very well equipped. Lovely touches of cookies and mints. The towels were amazing - large and fluffy - the best we've encountered in many years.

We absolutely loved staying at this motor lodge. We stayed twice at the beginning and end of one trip and both rooms we stayed in were fabulous with little touches that made it even better. Perfect location close to the CBD, comfy beds, Tracey was a fabulous host, it was a great place to stay.

Excellent place with wonderfully helpful owners who could not do enough to assist. The rooms were nicely furnished with lots of thoughtful extras. They kindly stored our bags for us between stays and were a wealth of information. Really great place to stay if you’re in Nelson

Large apartment, very quiet but still in an excellent location (5 min walk to restaurants) All very well furnished with a lovely patio area. Excellent attention to detail eg chocolates on the bed on arrival and refilling of coffee on a daily basis

I arrived much later to check in than expected and they were incredibly accommodating and super friendly! When I finally arrived, she had closed curtains, heater was on and room was warm. Location was perfect! I will most definitely stay here again.

Bedroom a bit tight for space and bench at end of bed instead of bedside table. This may be a one-off as on previous stays we've had bigger rooms.
