The location of the motel is good and within walking distance to the city centre and close to some great eateries. It is unfortunate that it rain rather heavily during our stay so we did not do much walking. The rooms are spacious and bed is warm.

The WiFi is intermittent and the TV (works on digital signal) also did not function well. The utensils are fully equipped - The mugs are however with coffee stain but we could manage. We were placed on 2nd floor and next to stairs so we could hear a bit of movement but it is understandable as the motel is fully booked.

Nice and central - able to walk easily into town to restaurants, shops and cafes. Room Good family room and well presented and clean.

Basic landscaping and maintenance needed outside the rooms and complex gardens. Not a major issue but some simple maintenance would make a significant difference to make the entrance and exterior more inviting.

It was great stay.!!! Very clean room and kitchen, comfortable bed and multiple things for the feeling as being at home! Great bonus- a bottle of wine, as a present from the motel on the our arrival!! Thank you, staff in The King's Gate for the cooperation with any of our inquiries !!! We have been looked after :))

Only, we have missed- the porridge balls to use in MW oven for the breakfast and 2 light bulbs in the room:))

Clean and close to stadium and town.

Room was wide open and freezing cold when we arrived. Lighting was ok but switches everywhere. Place could do with a bit of a refresh in the rooms and the yard.

Excellent location. Great self-catering facilities. Clean and tidy and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sofas in lounge area, a little uncomfortable. WiFi kept dropping out.

The apartment was very clean. There was everything in it that is needed ( apart from a bottle opener). Just a tiny detail. The laundry was very handy and there are clothes lines out the back for visitors use. The pool area looked great . It is a leisurely 10 min walk into the town which is very charming.

Had all the facilities we needed like a fridge, hairdryer, laundry. Check in easy.

Staff weren't there at any point during our stay so could not get change for the laundry room and we desperately needed to do laundry before it closed at 9pm.

The room was clean and well presented, the location was excellent and the staff we extremely accommodating.

Two out of the five mattress in our room probably need replacing but based on my brief experience with the property managers i would say it’s probably on their to do list as its very apparent they are in the process of upgrading and have so far done a very good job.

I loved that the host made us feel like we were right at home being so far away from home!!! Really enjoyed our stay we can't thank yous enough facilities staff even the price was a definite score so really appreciated!!. Happy 2024 all the best

We had a great stay at Kings Gate Motel over the weekend. Our room was a great size and the bed was really comfortable. It was a short walk into the city and easy to reach the airport via a bus or taxi.
