Great location, clean bedding very tidy rooms and adequate cooking facilities. The towels, shower etc. also fresh and clean. If I could make a suggestion the lighting was very dim and in the bedrooms the lamp was at the desk and not beside the bed. (no power switch or bedside table) All said and done I would recommend Nikau Apartments. Good value at a reasonable cost.

This is a fine place to stay overnight. It seems like a student residence that is available to travellers for the breaks. We didn't try to eat in the unit - there was a microwave and fridge but no extra way of cooking - but we went to a pub so that was ok. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was OK - not as good a design as one could easily imagine but there was a sink, shower, and toilet, so what can you say - considering the price.

I loved the location, between a river and green nature and the city centre. The apartment had separate living- and bedrooms, giving lots of moving space.

The building was very noisy to me. Opening/closing windows and doors made a lot of sound. The shower could be more comfortable, the water was mostly one big stream and no place to put the soap.

Location was perfect for our needs being so close to the City. The room was clean, well equipped and a great shower. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

In the height of summer the lack of an adequate cooling system was very apparent. The room we were in was close to and entrance way, so a little noisy at times.

A nice room in what appeared to be a university dormitory setting. Nicely equipped with modest appliances for home food preparation. Clean with comfortable bed.

My only dislike was a halogen light outside which shone brightly into the room causing me to have the shades drawn the entire stay. And it flickered all the night as well.

For the price, this was an easy place to stay. Location is excellent. Parking was actually on the road but it was free and safe enough.

The bed was not very comfortable… saved by the fact that we had brought an extra, more substantial pillow with us. The toilet seat was effectively unusable as it was not securely attached. Very annoying.

Location, everything was clean and tidy, everything was working well.

The carpet was visually clean, but if you walk barefoot or in socks, the socks or your foot would be dirty straight away. I realize that nobody will be washing the carpet after each occupant. The solution might be to ask occupants not to wear their outdoor shoes inside... Another issue is the noise from the occupants above, but they would normally stop making it after 11pm.

Comfy bedrooms, kitchen facilities good. Easy walk into the town centre.

It was cold with all the windows open when we arrived. Little heaters took quite some tine to heat the rooms. Air conditioning heat pump would be better. Not double glazed and a bit of street noise.

Leah, super friendly on arrival. I asked if I could leave my bags earlier than check in time. Leah was so welcoming and had even put my bags in my room by the time arrived back from exploring town! All staff great and I had a very comfortable stay.
