We definitely had an experience here with our little one getting injured but the holiday park showed plenty of compassion and empathy towards our situation even after we had left staying in touch to make sure she was okay and we would love to come back here one day and hopefully have a better experience with no injuries! The girls still had a lot of fun here over our stay. The girls absolutely loved the swimming pool and it was such a convenient location for us too. The cabins are nice and warm as well and the beds were pretty comfy. This is a quiet location just out of Christchurch but close enough to Christchurch if you need to pop in! We definitely appreciate the hospitality we received even after our stay ☺️

Grandson ended up staying at short notice and was no charge 😀 and the lights at night were amazing

We had a great stay - the A frame cabin was basic but comfortable and fit for purpose. The beds were comfortable, it had a mini fridge, table and chairs. Would love to have more powerpoints but overall, pretty great. Locals were friendly, as was the owner, and the pool was amazing. Always places to sit, including indoors and out, picnic tables, cheap washing machines, free showers (great hot water). A 5 minute drive to central Rangiora so the supermarket is close by but still quiet, no road noise.

Somewhat expected in a camp ground, but unfortunately not a lot of items in the kitchen e.g. only a handful of plates and cups, a blunt knife, etc. However, we bought our own items so wasn't an issue for us. The oven and cook tops could use upgrading as they're a bit hit n miss/slow to heat but overall, totally usable and fine.

Great self contained unit. Aircon, three beds and own bathroom. Camp ground in nice order and staff were great. Xmas style lights going in the evening added a nice vibe too. Only stayed one night but with cooking facilities in our unit as well it would be great for a long stay. Comfy beds and great value. Really quiet location but 6 or 7 minutes into town. Right at the racecourse if you're a horse racing fan. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing. It was perfect for what we needed.

I loved the building I was in. The outside facilities were good too. The bed was comfy but needed another pillow. It was really warm and dry. It felt really private, I wasn’t scared I was being watched or anything.

The sink isn’t big enough, I had to fill the kettle using a cup, and then couldn’t find most cutlery as it was at the back of the upper cupboards which is weird. The pool covering needed a clean.

Good overnight place to stay with good kitchen facilities and multiple showers available, We stayed in a tent so didn't see what the other accomodation options were. Cheap price for a tent site for 2 people overnight

Quite a small area to pitch a tent and partly rocky ground as not much grass. We arrived late in the evening so not sure if there was an alternate tent site. TV channels glitching but this may of been because of the recent satelite upgrade?

Nice cabin, had everything, utensils, fridge, heat pump, soaps, electric blanket, small cooktop and microwave

Bed was uncomfortable, have done a lot of travel for 12 months this one didn't fit the bill. Tried two of the coffees, not good, may have been the little milks 🤷‍♀️. Overall cabin was great, bit further out than first thought.

Nice and quiet during our stay. Kids enjoyed a dip in the pool and jump on the trampoline. There is a new playground under construction, which looked like it will be great for small kids! Quite a large amount of permanent occupants at this campground. They people we came across were lovely

My son pointed out that there were no smoke alarms in our cabin/unit, only two empty bases. Hot shower was good.

What a fantastic place. I absolutely loved our wee room. It was so cosy and perfect for what we needed. We had a few unexpected bonuses with having a heater, table/ chairs and a fridge in the room too. Master 3 said “I love our new house”. We also really loved the playground so close to the lounge and having activities in the lounge too. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you.

Comfortable, value for money in the cheaper range. We will stay here again. Lady in charge was brilliant.

Another electricity outlet would have been handy.
