Immaculately decorated, presented and with such lovely attention to detail from the breakfast provisions, many coffee and tea options to the toiletries and the lovely choccies. The bed was so comfortable, finished with quality bedding towels and a spacious bathroom. Trevor was great, meeting us and giving us all the information we needed to enhance our stay. Very welcoming of our two English Springer spaniels too, we needed somewhere pooch friendly and this definitely was the place for us.

Super accommodation, fully stocked, extremely clean & very comfy bed & pillows. Quiet picturesque location with surrounding countryside and Llamas! Breakfast was left in the room, cereal, yoghurt, toast & fruit, quite delicious. We had booked anticipating crossing the Arthurs Pass the following day but due to road closures, we re-routed down the coastal road. The location of Ra-ata made this an easy decision. A great stay and would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable bed and quality linen. Impressive bathroom with great shower pressure. Hosts provided everything you could possibly need in the room plus homemade fruit preserve and yoghurt in the fridge. What a treat! Nice decor, and well-placed furniture. Quiet and relaxing, with a very warm welcome from hosts and Nero, their dog. My dogs were welcomed, and hopefully, we will be accepted again in future.

Ra-ata Farm is an absolute gem! We only wished we had more time there. There were so many lovely and thoughtful little touches, from lovely shower gel and shampoo to a variety of coffees to accompany the provided continental breakfast. The bed and pillows were soo comfortable and the room lovely and dark,Thanks to good blackout curtains, which helped us in getting the best sleep we had enjoyed since leaving home.

Highly recommended for comfort and value for money. Bathroom particularly luxurious. Location rural and very peaceful. There is a microwave in the unit and I suggest bringing something basic for tea as once you arrive here you will be disinclined to drive 10-15 mins back into Rangiora for food. Lovely dog was a bonus

A bit challenging to find with Google maps but well worth it.

I absolutely love this place! It was a gem that I stayed in en route from Kaikoura to Arthur's pass in a very cosy ensuite room. It was decorated really nicely and they left a lovely gluten free breakfast for me in the small self-contained kitchen area for the morning. I had this on the little chairs/tables outside while having a cuddle with their friendly dog. Also treated myself to the use of a dressing gown. If you need to stay in Rangiora then I'd definitely recommend Ra-ata farm!

This was one of the very best bookings we have used and we have travelled widely. Host was awesome meeting us in the dark with a late checkin, immaculately presented wee place which is pet friendly. Totally recommend and will come back again. Awesome by daylight as well. Thank you so much.

Absolutley nothing.

Self contained, very clean, large, tastefully decorated studio unit in a rural setting. A bonus was to be able to take our dog with us on a short holiday break. The hosts two dogs Dexta and Nero are lovely dogs. The supplied continental breakfast was enjoyable. This was the second time in 3+ years that we've stayed here and on both occassions the high standard is comparable. Highly recommended accommodation. Thanks Rose.

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely comfy room with all the traits of home..We felt very comfortable there. Probably that nicest B&B we have stayed in and we have traveled the world. Rose, the Manager and her delightful dog were just terrific, and their kindness made the stay quite memorable for us.

Nothing I can think of - it was exceptional!

The large room has a generous ensuite, kitchen facilities and a lovely sitting area, all beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Delicious breakfast supplies. Trevor and Rose were very welcoming and unobtrusive hosts. Their dogs are delightful and very well behaved. A lovely peacefulbrespite for us as we negotiated moving house. Highly recommended.
