The bed was incredibly comfortable—soft, supportive, and perfect for a restful night. The bathroom was spotless, although there was a slight scent of disinfectant, but nothing too bothersome. The attention to detail in the cleanliness really stood out. Friendly and accommodating Lyndon made sure we have the information we needed for our stay. Also, the motel is just a 5-minute walk to Northlands Shopping Centre. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Christchurch.

About a 15.minute drive from the International Airport made the motel very convenient for an early flight. The price for the night and the short easy drive made this motel a good option for the international traveler on a budget - but still wanting a comfortable and quiet room. The rooms were a good size with a lovely bathroom. There were a couple of choices for quality take away food a 5 minute walk away - as well as a big supermarket.

Not a huge issue but the road the motel is on is very busy and crossing the traffic to get in the driveway was a test of patience when it was busy.

We were not able to turn on the heat pump. We used the remote but it wouldn't turn on.. just kept on blinking and then turns off by itself. It's good it wasn't that cold inside. We suggest a step by step on how to make it work? This is Just to let you know to maybe fix it. Overall we are happy and we did have a very comfortable stay. :)

Lyndon & Kathy were exceptional hosts. They even shared Archie with us for a while. We booked the disabled room and I have to say it was one of the nicest motel rooms we have been in for many years. Updated & fresh. Even the appliances were quality. The bus stops right outside the door. We caught the 125 to the airport. Super easy. And buses into ChCh city and even the short hop to.Northlands Shopping Centre are very regular. We highly recommend the V Motel.

We can't think of anything we didn't like.

The motel was very nice, modern , clean, large with a good shower and comfortable bed. My only complaint was that at night the outside lights are so bright it kept me up at night. Inside at 3am looked like it was the middle of the day. You need blockout curtains!! And the other small thing is the balcony is very exposed, you feel like your on display. Other than that the place was great, convenient location and the price was good. # Photo is at 3am looking at the curtain. The bed is right next to it.

We have stayed here numerous times over the years, but this was our first time with the new owners. The woman owner was so kind and accommodating. The facilities were perfect 👌

We were in room 12. It would be amazing if there was a rail to hang suits, jackets, etc, in the wardrobe 😀 Also, hooks in the bathroom or somewhere to put your clothes so they don't get wet on the floor would be great 🙂

Due to my daughter (the driver on our trip) sustaining an injury I'd cancelled our reservation as we were uncertain we would make it back to Christchurch on the planned date. The injury healed well enough for my daughter to drive and I called the motel to re-confirm my original booking, The staff were fantastic about it and so kind, giving us a very spacious room normally set aside for those needing wheelchair access. Their caring and consideration was 100% appreciated.

Really I just can't think of anything that was a problem.

Location is close to airport which helps for early morning flights. This is a cozy, clean motel and the reception person was very polite and helpful. We only stayed a night as we had an early morning flight. They had a small kitchenette which was perfect for our needs.

Beds were a little too soft to our liking. Not a big deal since we only stayed for a night. No shuttle to airport which would have been nice to have.

I loved how friendly the front desk person was. The place was lovely and spacious. Plenty of parking space and easy to place to find. I would definitely have this place again for my future regular chch trips plus love how close it is to the shops and family friend. The beds are so comfortable as well, my Mum bought her own pillow as some motel rooms don't always have comfortable ones but she forgot to use it.

None, absolutely perfect

Check in was easy. The manager was great. It was clean and comfortable. Serviced every day. It was very convenient for everything. They upgraded my elderly mum to be close to us which was wonderful. As we are smokers they even had a wonderful spot for us. Thanks team for not making us not feel uncomfortable.
