The hosts were brilliant, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The milk was in the fridge and the heater was on when we arrived. The bathroom was fresh and modern, and sparkling clean! Most Impressive!! The whole unit and property was clean, but the bathroom really stood out, as all the surfaces were spotless, including the tile floor. Also, we were allocated a unit at the rear of the property and it was wonderfully quiet. Electric blankets were supplied, though we didn't use them or need them, as there was ample bedding. Oh, Yes, and a range of pillows was supplied to suit almost any taste. All-in-all, a great experience and would happily go back. Recommend to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, nice place to stay.

This place was absolutely amazing. From the staff being attentive & kind, aswell as being able to have our beautiful furr baby Lola there, this place gets a 10/10 for us. The room was lovely, spacious, cosy & comfortable with a very lush comfortable bed, most hotels & motels i have stayed at do not have the comfortable feel that this place does & i can garantee we will be back to stay again!!!!

There was no oven, i had brought a pizza for us to share unfortunately i could not cook it but this wasnt really an issue as we just brought microwave meals instead & they were delicious

The accommodation was scrupulously clean, the towels were changed daily and the staff and managers very warm and welcoming.

It is a pity the car parks were not numbered, we sometimes ended up a few doors away from our unit, because someone else had used the parking close to our unit. I was not a fan of the kitchen arrangements. The bench space was taken up with a rather bulky mini cooker, and the microwave had no instructions. (I still find it extraordinary that microwave manufacturers make the controls so different from appliance to appliance) As the barest minimum of cups , glasses etc were provided, it was not possible to invite friends in for a drink.

We had a comfortable 2 night stay at Northcote Motor Lodge. I chose this accommodation because of the location which worked for our visit as we needed to be in that part of the city. It was comfortable and good value for money. The unit was warm and had everything we needed. It was clean and appeared to have been decorated relatively recently.

My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower wasn't great.

We are very pleased with our stay. Donna, Gary and staff are very pleasant, helpful, and most importantly met all our needs, which we are so grateful for. Studio was very comfortable and clean. We will definitely recommend Northcote Motor Lodge as place to stay, to all. Thank you for a wonderful stay Donna, Gary and staff.

Very hospitable owners, very thoughtful, putting the heaters on at night so we returned to a warm room! Great location and very clean and comfortable!

Only thing was the showers water pressure and temperature control, was either burning hot or semi cold with very little water pressure but the bathroom itself was beautiful and modern.

Unbeknown to the hosts, I was very unwell and needed to check in early and sleep. They accommodated our request without hesitation and made us feel welcome upon our arrival. Both were friendly and welcoming. We were there exclusively to attend a tangi for a whanau member, so had shopped around to find suitable accommodation that fit our needs with an elderly person travelling with us, my wifes mother. Very happy with Northcote. Location was good for us. Shops nearby easy to get to and from.

Dog poo in the back yard, opened the window and back door to get some air flowing through and met with that smell. Minor detail but not pleasant nonetheless. Needless to say the door and window remained shut for the duration of our stay.

The value for $, the efficient, friendly staff, the cleanliness, the facilities, the location (close to resources that we needed, eg the Caltex right beside, the Pak n Save one block away, Northlands Mall down the road and so close to Northern Motorway)

Allocated parking, but only because the guests beside us chose to park on an angle across 2 car park spaces which left us short

Very comfortable bed. Older type of building with seperate kitchen and bathroom off kitchen. My arrival was quite late at night and the key was left in a lock box with clear instructions given by email. A light was left on for me and the heater was on making the room toasty warm. Good parking and quiet location away from traffic. I had a great night’s sleep. Pleasant owners and they also have a very cute dog.

A bath mat for the shower would be good as it has a stainless steel floor and I felt it was a little slippery as I am not very steady on my feet.

Great facilities with a heater—even though it's summer season, the nights can still be a bit chilly. Accepts Visa and Mastercard, which is very convenient. Overall, it's a great place to stay. The surrounding area has easy access to supermarkets, including a Green Supermarket. The hostess has an adorable sausage dog! dog is verrry lovely！
