Our room was beautifully appointed, immaculately maintained — and very quiet, even though the motel is on a main thoroughfare out of the city. The bed was super comfortable.

The motel's wifi signal didn't reach our room. Apparently, the modem is in the office, but we had the room farthest from there. As a result, I used up a lot of my phone plan's mobile data allowance. If the wifi had worked as advertised, we would have gladly given the Avon City Motel 10 out of 10.

Great place for a short stay and if you're on your way to the airport. Close to a lot of places, including supermarkets and food. Bon and Terry are so sweet and nice. They were very accommodating. Loved the daily servicing that was provided, which is not missing in a LOT of properties where we pay the money and still have to clean ourselves. The rooms are neat and basic (and nice) kitchenware provided. Loved the free and fast wifi. We took a room that was said to accommodate 4 but it does get cramped if you have 2 grown children and luggage from a long trip. If you're looking for just a place to sleep and spend most of your time out, this is a nice place.

It is cramped for a grown up family of 4. Otherwise, all good.

Very welcoming and friendly host. The room was lovely, warm, very clean and quiet. They even upgraded our room for us for no additional cost. The owners thought about the little things that make a difference - gave us an actual carton of milk, and had normal hand soap in the bathroom instead of a tiny block that wouldn't lather. Good-sized coffee cups and awesome bath towels!

As it was a freezing afternoon when we arrived the unit was very cold. The wall heater was very efficient and warmed up the unit very quickly. The bed was suoer comfy and the shower hot with good pressure. The location was very good, easy to find and parking was good too. The lady was very nice and welcoming.. A good place for an overnight stay

Our unit was very clean and comfortable for a one night stay. We liked the sky lights over the kitchenette and bathroom, bringing in natural light. Also appreciated the planting which gave a pleasant outlook. Friendly staff member. This motel represents good value for money.

Location was great & close to a dairy & other shops. The unit had everything that I needed & was good value for money.

The motel was fine for the price that I paid. My towels were changed daily & there was a good supply of teas & coffees.

This was our second visit in 2 weeks before returning home to Tasmania. We were welcomed back like old friends. Terry and Bon are lovely. On our day of depature we had a very early pick up (4.10am) and they said to just leave anything we didn't want to take home and theycwould get rid of it.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. My studio room was adequate and quiet and comfy. Would stay again.

Location was a little far from city but Terry advised there's a bus into the city if I ever needed it, so this isn't an issue.

Everything, a home away from home. We were sorry to leave to continue our trip but happy to be returning at the end of our holiday for 3 more nights before flying home.
