Easy to find, ample parking spaces, great restaurant. Single level building,( I think) made it easy to get to our room. Modern and stylish decor.

I was unable to successfully turn down the airconditioning/heating, twice during the night we woke up hot and stuffy. the contol seemed to work but later it reverted back to 23 degrees. Possibly my mistake (twice) but still, I shouldn't need a degree to make my room less hot..... There was no coffee machine or milk in the room, but when requested they supplied both. This seems to be a theme these days, especially the milk, most places I stay at I have to chase around after supplies, don't know why but so it seems.

I liked that the staff were very respectful and helpful, The hotel was very quiet, this surprised me as it is so close to such a busy airport. I loved the layout, with the large sheltered garden in the middle. Everything was very 'thoughtful'.. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends who were travelling.

The only minor criticism was that the hairdryer in my bathroom only worked for short periods before cutting out. I had to wait for it to cool down before it would start again. For such a lovely hotel, I thought it was a shame that some of the built in furniture could have done with a little TLC. Just showed a bit of general wear and tear.

Close to airport as in walking close if you have bags on wheel. Dark quiet rooms. Absolutely great breakfast as I had $40 credit “ special deal promotions “ so that covered all that which means the winter deal was only was amazing as the room then landed up costing $160 if you take the credit for breakfast into account.Also the AMAZING Antarctica 4 d interactive and base hub for all research scientists leaving for the continent is literal 60 meters and next door. AMUST see .

There was no really great coffee machine to make nice coffee. Just awful filtered. That really brought my rave about how amazing hotel was ,down.

Convenience for airport, friendly and helpful staff. Good, well priced restaurant. Clean and well equipped rooms. Great to see the manager working on reception, helping in the restaurant and even driving the courtesy bus to the airport! Easy to get public bus into Chrustchurch for just 4 NZD and if you don't want to eat at hotel, there are alternatives next to the hotel in a small shopping centre. Reception staff, so welcoming and informative. We stayed in same hotel at Auckland airport and had a very similar positive experience. Well done to all the teams!

Was a little bit more expensive than Auckland, but we booked later and had free courtesy to airport which we had yo pay for in Auckland

directions to find the room not east to follow i walked around entire building back to reception desk with my bag after a long trip when people are tired ots good to check clarity for the guests. Sometimes when ataff know a place will small pieces of info get left out- especially when staff have to repeatedly direct people to rioms. The staff were all lovely- just the directions were a bit misleading ( turn right around the corner. I asked “ through that glads door” and was told ‘ yes’. which was not correct.

Hotel Sudima is a modern, very comfortable hotel conveniently located in a small shopping plaza just a 5-minute shuttle drive from the airport. Upon arrival, we simply called the hotel, and their shuttle picked us up within minutes. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to cater to different dietary needs. It was the perfect choice for relaxing after our two-week New Zealand trip and before embarking on a long flight back to the States. Highly recommended for comfort and convenience!

The whole experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Bit of a walk to room next time will ask for a room nearer reception because of our age. I am sure we would have got assistance if we asked for it. Enjoyed happy hour and meal and slept very well in comfortable bed. Pillows were a bit hard for us but again we could have asked for another set and I am sure they would have obliged. Breakfast was smashing and we asked for a shuttle to the airport and this was immediate.

Everything was top notch, and every single staff member we encountered was happy to be there, and that shone through to their respect and courtesy to us, anticipating our needs. Absolutely appreciated. Although it's minutes walk from the airport, the 24/7 shuttle (no booking necessary) was much appreciated because it's still an intrepid walk for some with disabilities 👌
