Loved the price very affordable. Doing a South Island trip this was the cheapest and the biggest motel we stayed in. We liked the space of the room, with a separate kitchen with cooking facilities. How quiet the room was because the kitchen and bathroom is on the road side blocking the noise.

There was a couch/sofa in the room with metal angled legs that stuck out. My spouse tripped over it 3 or four times.

Room was good ,clean and everything you require. for a few days stay.. Parking was good

1) Due to the weather Raining all day . Room was very cold.. Heat pump on the wall did not work..went to complain but there was no answer. Bed. had a electric blanket which was a good job When we left we told them and all we got was well there was another blanket in the cupboard. Also there was no notices about any. information about Doctors or chemists ,or local. shops etc. Not sure if we would like to go their again.

Loved the unit size, everything you need and more than enough cups etc. Bed whilst a double was very comfortable. Lounge space and furniture very functional and comfortable

Dated of course but a really good clean especially the shower would enhance the experience. A good clean of the ledges sills etc again would lift the experience. Otherwise great

Location was good. Had our own food for breakfast.

Unit 2, which was good apart from the shower. We couldn't have one because the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Iy was impossible to set it for warm.

Very spacious. Helpful staff. Area for children (didn't use as had no children with me), Double and single bed so extra person didn't have to sleep on couch. BBQ area to sit. Room was warm and motel was super easy to find. Car washing area with hose etc which a is a great idea.

Kitchen was very basic and outdated. Still functioning though with bit kiwi ingenuity. Gardens needed attention but this is not an issue for me, but adding for reference only.

Nice and spacey, easy to find everything

It would of been great to have a little freezer to freeze out ice packs. We were traveling to motueka when we left and to keep a small amount for perishables safe would of been fantastic. The only thing I noticed was that there was some water from the fridge on the kitchen floor in the morning. Wiped up easy.

Our host was very lovely & welcoming as was the gardener. The playground looked great & allocated carpark was appreciated. The grounds were immaculate & well presented.

The unit smelt damp so we purchased some spray air freshener from the supermarket which helped with the damp smell. Otherwise a lovely unit

Heatpump not working properly and remote not talking to it. Had to go outside to turn it off at the unit. Couldn't get the dryer to work properly. Ended up at the laundromat to get washing dry

Great parking and staff member welcomed me on arrival and showed me the room, Tidy and all extras I needed. easy directions to find. Secure car parking. Clean room

Location was a bit further off state highway one than I expected as I was travelling through to Picton for the ferry. but ended up not being too much of a problem as the room was very quiet with no traffic noise

Motel was easy to find, was central and near where we needed to be. Check in was easy, communication with motelier was prompt and accommodating to our travel plans it was quiet & comfortable and spacious. It was a one room ground floor studio with kitchen facilities. There was a lounge seating TV area, a queen bed and a single bed. Also a private outside garden area opening out from glass sliders and carpark by the entrance door.

not a. criticism - just an observation - the motels were obviously older buildings but well maintained. The bathroom/shower area was small and cramped but adequate for two of us.
