Great welcome from our hosts, and really convenient for the airport. We were there for just one night and didn't use the swimming pool or hot tub. But it was still good value because there was enough food for an evening snack as well as continental breakfast. And Greg gave us a lift back from the airport after we dropped off our hire car, as well as take us next morning to the airport with all our luggage, saving us taxi fares. The second bed was a useful surface for reorganising the contents of our big suitcases.

Too many things to trip over in the living area and on my side of the bed. But perfectly adequate for just one night.

Sue, Greg and their property were fabulous. From a warm welcome, the provision of welcome treats and breakfast facilities, as well as the access to and use of a washer & dryer it was all positive. An added bonus to have a sporting connection to be able to chat about too

Our only slightly minor feedback relates to a) the lack of a door or access to common area side from within the suite (Violet) and b) needing to use laundry to do our dishes

We loved the whole place. Greg and Sue made us feel so welcome with their relaxed yet attentive style of hospitality. Our accommodation was so homely and perfect for our first night ever in New Zealand. The icing on the cake was Greg driving us, free, the following morning to the location nearby where we collected our campervan for our two week driving tour of South Island. A fabulous start to our New Zealand experience. Thank you.

We stayed there 6 years ago & it was just as good this time. In fact there was so much food left for us we couldn't manage it. It's in a great position with easy access to the airport & in a lovely quiet location. The garden, grounds & pool are lovely. Sue & Greg were away but their daughter Amanda looked after us very well. It's also an easy drive into the city via Harewood & Papanui roads, so very convenient. The studio is well equipped & very comfortable - a real home from home.

The only disadvantage is that there is no stovetop or electric cooker, so only a microwave, which we don't really use. The kitchen area is quite small so I can understand the lack of a stovetop. There are, however, takeaways & places to eat just a short drive away, so it wasn't really a problem if you know what to expect. The rest of the studio more than makes up for the lack of this, however. We'd not hesitate to return!

Location. 5 minutes from the airport. Very Friendly host. Good breakfast choices. Lovely garden.

Room was cluttered with a lot of personal things including a a large baby bed. Didn’t feel private enough. A small sink in the living/dining room area that is used as a kitchenette will help.

Location & quietness were exactly what we needed for an overnight stay prior to an early flight out in the morning

Nothing really - it was perfect. The only thing I could say was a wee sink in the kitchen part would have been good so we could have done the dishes

The property is just gorgeous, in a wonderful garden with swimming pool, tennis court, basketball hoop, ping pong and more. The rooms are as comfortable as a 5star hotel, even more: heating lamps in the bathroom, packed fridge and pantry for us to use, beautiful sun-lit dining area, cozy sofas, super fast washing machine and dryer... And: the hosts are very sweet and helpful.

Amazing accommodation with lovely hosts who went out of their way for us. Quiet location. Breakfast provided was way above our expectations 😋.

We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool or outdoor area. 😢

The park like setting with the flowers, lawn and thoughtful design elements was so lovely! The hosts, Greg and Sue, were so hospitable it felt like we were staying with dear friends.
