We had the Queen studio. Nice little house for us in the middle of the motel. Luckily far enough away from the road that it was reasonably quiet. Very nice and clean with a small kitchen, a big bathroom (suitable for wheelchair) and a nice queen size bed, a lazy chair and a Television. You can walk to the Richmond mall, center of town in about 7 minutes - through the back entrance, across a field, past the church, around the corner and you're there. Very convenient location. Also everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

The shower had no pressure, which was disappointing and I do hope they take our recommendation of installing a little shelf beside the wash basin, as there was no space to put anything there. Wash basin is absolutely tiny. An extra hook for the second towel would be great too. We used the oven to warm up some pizza, but that was quite hard to figure out. The Manual is in the upper drawer, but still... an easier option would have been appreciated.

Great location for touring the Nelson area, including the Abel Tasman track as well as to the Nelson Lakes National Park. We could also easily walk to convenient shopping areas nearby. We stayed in a 1-bedroom motel with kitchenette and ensuite bath. It was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the towels were big and fluffy. They serviced the room daily - nice! Oh and we loved having the swimming pool on site - great after a nice long tramp.

Loved the room it was lovely and clean and the fittings were stunning and very impressive and we had a great sleep the room was great and loved the fact we had our own kitchen facilities as well as bathroom. The location was great and the friendly receptionist even gave us milk for our coffee/tea. Thanks for our kively stay see yous again soon. Highly recommend great service and value for money

Access to wifi connection to TV as I wanted to stream to the TV but couldn't as our room was too far but loved the privacy all the same I still really enjoyed my stay

I've stayed a few times now and this room was exceptional I last stayed in a cabin I absolutely loved this shower and the bed and the lazy boy chair were extremely comfortable so I felt so relaxed and chill 😎 can't wait for next time absolutely lovely staff so welcoming and friendly and I met your cat outside this morning such a lovely puss 🥰🐾🐈 definitely will back soon!! Had a proper large fridge/freezer and a full size oven. One bedroom motel unit has a separate bedroom plus a queen bed in the lounge. Great for snoring spouses. Also has a private outdoor sitting area. Bonus swimming pool for summer. Everything comfy and well equipped.

A bit of traffic noise if you sleep in lounge bed, but is a busy road so understandable. Worth it for the location and price.

Straightforward small cabin on a tiny house base but it was very stable and had no issues. The heat pump was super-efficient to help regulate the hot Tasman Bay sun and being able to open windows on all sides was useful when we wanted to circulate air. The shower was perfectly adequate, though not roomy. Good low cost accommodation

Friendly helpful staff Staff asked what we needed daily re towels, coffee etc Warm and comfortable We were upgraded to a bigger cabin for the 2 week stay, which we really appreciated.

We did have to ask if the place could be vacuumed when we had been there just over a week for a two week stay. Staff obliged immediately when we explained. Curtain in bedroom would come off the track when we pulled it open, this is an easy fix. Neighbours started work on something noisy at 7am, let's hope that project is over.

I liked the quietness and privacy. All the facilities were up to date and worked well (kitchen equipped well and laundry works fine) I also liked that the stuff members were very polite and kept asking if I needed anything like clean towels, tea, coffee refill, etc Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will come back again ☺️

Spotlessly clean, no funky smells, we had a wheelchair accessible cabin which was great as my partner and I both have disabilities. I cannot fault the service nor the accommodation in any real way - I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality motel accommodation at reasonable prices.

The ONLY fault is that we were in the wheelchair accommodation and all the kitchen supplies (cutlery, crockery, utensils etc) are stored in an overhead cupboard - which you obviously can't use from a wheelchair. Otherwise, no problems at all

Location is great and the price is very good for what you get. They're making improvements and there are still some issues to iron out e.g nothing to use in the microwave/convection oven. It needs a silicone mat or container for use inside the oven as there is no suitable dish.

Back of bathroom door was dirty and one bed was a bit boney but I guess they're updating as they go so it will get sorted.
