Limited TV channels, that was mainly able to watch SKY sports channels on the provided TV in the Studio unit and not Freeview free digital channels like TV 1, 2, 3, Bravo, Aljazeera, HGTV, ShineTV, Firstlight channels like at home or anywhere else. Other than that, didn't really need to watch much TV during this trip and stay in Waimate during exploration of the town.

Just a short walk into a lovely quiet town where you could relax and enjoy peace and quiet. I arrived from Sydney and such a contrast . The scenery ,the town friendliness,old fashioned values and everything you want really in contrast to a big city .. Jen the motel owner was very friendly and obviously a hard worker to keep the motel standards high .I have no hesitation at recommending Kingswood .

I enjoyed all and Waimate,s difference. Few shops but who needs shops when in such a lovely area .

Nice and central to town center, very clean, loved having two plugs by each side of the bed. Super accommodating for letting us park a car trailer. Super easy check in and very friendly. Highly recommend staying here, was great for our family. Even supplied games in the outdoor area for us to use.

Didn't have breakfast. Location = good, handy to town. Quiet at night. Very good facilities.

I couldn't locate a nearby socket for electric blanket I feel that a double socket by the bedside would be helpful for mobile phone charging and electric blanket. Apologies if I missed the socket.

The unit was very spacious & clean. Only thing I would say is the bed was very firm. Not a bad thing just takes a bit to get used too. Property is nice walking distance to the shops and eateries.

The property and facilities were excellent

The one thing that let the property down was the mattress which was rock hard and we had trouble sleeping because of it. I’ve never this painful issue before

Well located close to the central township it was easy for me to walk to a couple of functions I attended on Saturday evening. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. The bed was comfortable with a good range of pillow heights (for multiple tastes), and the shower had good flow. They had a good range of channels on sky available for entertainment purposes.

Out of their control, but if you're staying Saturday night, don't expect a deep sleep-in on Sunday morning, the church bells from the adjacent St Patricks Church, kick-off with gusto at 9:00am, think of it as a big alarm-clock. :)

Very clean, very comfortable bed, friendly staff. accommodated my request for late check-in. Refurbished bathroom, simple motel kitchen. Parking right outside the room. Very good option for a stay in Waimate.

The bed was a welcome relief after a very warm day. Excellent shower

Room was noisy. Could clearly hear people in units next door. Coffee and tea sachets could have been more. Thought the price was a bit steep.

It was clean, good location, easy to find, comfortable. Staff was exceptional and went out of the way to help. Thanks very well. Rakesh

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom entrance through the kitchen.
