Nice relaxed retreat. Good quality food albeit traditional choices. Good services. A tranquil weekend escape. Would recommend.
The driveway was a shocker. Deep potholes bottomed out our car. Really needs attention as it would be easy to get a flat or throw out wheel alignment. Would be a shocker at night.

My recent stay at this retreat was absolutely amazing. Nestled in the heart of nature with breathtaking views of the mountains, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment I arrived, the serene atmosphere helped me fully unwind. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of my highlights was waking up to stunning mountain views each morning—truly a sight to start the day with peace and gratitude. I especially loved the swimming, which was both invigorating and soothing against the backdrop of nature. The food was another standout—delicious, fresh, and perfect for fueling a day of relaxation or adventure. Overall, it was a much-needed escape that recharged my mind and spirit. I highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking to disconnect, relax, and immerse themselves in natural beauty.

The lodge is wonderfully decorated, feels moody and inviting. The staff were all friendly and smiling. The breakfast was good. The large bed was super comfortable. The interior of the room was awesome, very spacious and well decorated. We paid a good price through booking.com that included breakfast. Initially I didn't like there was no tv in the room, but it had the desired intention I think, causing us to spend time in the moment and relax and enjoy each other's company. Bring a book, bring some cards, spend time at the pool, take a walk around the property. It was nice not being a slave to the tv.
I was expecting a big wide open view like the pictures, but our front outlook was a very small lawn area looking at bush. Lots of wasps in the outside area made it uncomfortable to sit outside. We did get a good price through booking.com, so maybe this determined the location of the room. Not a bad room by any means though, we just sat inside instead of outside. The spa bath was not working (this was mentioned in the room booklet due to difficulty sourcing parts), the body wash was empty, and we weren't provided with milk - the staff were approachable and we could have asked but we didn't bother about the milk and just used the delicious smelling hand wash in the shower. The road to get there is an adventure in itself, but not the property's fault.

Secluded, beautiful views. Friendly staff. Quality restaurant food. Beautiful villa very well appointed. Main building was with lovely open fires and cosy decor and a nice bar lounge.
Not much to dislike, however the shower area did have quite a buildup of calcified soap scum on the glass and tiles. And apparently the spa bath was out of order. Bedside tables had some kind of dried up matter that was once wet on them as well as quite a bit of dust. Cups in the coffee making facilities won’t very clean. A family group had commandeered the entire Pool and fitness centre as though it were their own.

Exactly what I was looking for - cosy cabin that really feels like a get away from the city. Room even has an electric fire! Had breakfast and dinner in main lodge - small menu but everything I had was delicious (some pics below). Staff were so friendly - especially lodge manager Tanisha. Great facilities available if you choose to use them, will definitely be back!
Wasn’t clear to me if baths were working or not - can use the baths as normal it’s just the jets that aren’t working so no bubbles (but they make up for this by providing some lovely bath salts)

Lovely accomodation in beautiful, peacefully remote setting. Villas have great privacy and views. Very comfy bed and the breakfasts were delicious! Second time we have stayed and I’m sure we will return as we love it here. Staff are wonderful too.
Only suggestion is that unit 15’s bathroom (although lovely and spacious) may need some attention. There was a slight damp/mould smell coming from the wooden vanity. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay even in a cyclone!

Loved the villa, the large room with fire place was excellent. The lodge was very welcoming and comfortable, and we spent quite a bit of time in the evenings, by the fire playing chess or backgammon and sipping red wine. Overall a great place for a romantic weekend and would definitely recommend it.
The road was very rough and pot holed and it was a concern coming back in the dark because it is so narrow. Our room was not made up for the 2 days we were there, the first day it looked as if they had come in with the fresh linen and cleaning gear and then were called away, leaving it there. We mentioned this to the staff so expected the next day to be different, but it looked as if they had only roughly tucked in the sheets, the pillows and cushions were still on the floor, and nothing had been straightened or tidied. Small complaint really!

Firstly, a huge thank you to the amazing staff. They could not have helped more or been more friendly. They were super, especially Monique, Sharlene, and the girl who assisted Sharleen at dinner. The setting of the lodge is stunning. Once you exit your car and enter the main lodge or the guest lodge, your worries and stresses will be left behind. Each lodge is beautiful, spacious, and cosy. The main lodge has some fantastic places to enjoy a cosy drink by the many fires or read (they have a large book selection). The guest lodge, they are spread out ensuring each has privacy and tranquility. Each has a cute little fire place, fabulous bedding, water, tea, coffee etc, a huge bathroom with large bath & double shower. The food; having read reviews I didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The food for both dinner and breakfast was pretty good. The service from staff was excellent. The spa facilities, the sauna you may have to heat up yourself and wait a few mins, which is fine as you can relax in the hot tub or pool. All of which are very clean. Overall, it was an amazing stay. I would highly recommend it. Book in advance as it does book up. It has approx 18-20 villas hence book early.
Leaving! I thoroughly enjoyed my “reset” and relaxation and wished I had booked for longer.

The location of this place is amazing! Beautiful views and facilities - sauna, pool and spa.
The breakfasts we had one day were really nice, but the ones on the following day weren't as nice unfortunately, perhaps due to different chefs. The place is clean, but for the price you pay per night, I would have expected the rooms to be very clean. There were some crumbs in the bathroom and dead insects in the window frames that could have been easily vacuumed.

I would say it’s a perfect spot if you wanna run away from hectic city life. I stayed three days there alone. It was amazing but I did sometimes feel a bit isolated. Staff are nice, room is amazing with a lot of facilities, just cups were a slightly dirty but it didn’t affect me much. They have literally everything I want for my future dream house haha.
The location is not that accessible tbh. It is literally on the top of the mountain so it is better if you have a car. I was traveling alone without a car so it was quite inconvenient for me. Uber doesn’t work there so if you are also traveling without a car better book a taxi in advance ( it can be quite expensive tho).
