Convenient to the beach. We liked the ground floor unit with the garden view. The unit was clean and quiet. Towels were soft and drawers and cupboards were all labelled so you knew where things were located. A good little fridge and microwave and cutlery and crockery and heat pump. Nice little outdoor area. Great wifi connection which was very easy to connect to.

Very tiny drinking glasses. We thought the room could do with some paint touchups and there has clearly been a leak in the spa bath through the wall at some time. It’s probably time the units had a repaint and revamp. The pillows weren’t that great. Maybe we’re getting old but this is the first time we thought we should,have taken our pillow from home.

2nd time being here. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Really close to the beach. Soundproof and not noisy at night.

If it weren't for that one bug I found at night right before I'm about to sleep I’d give it a 10/10. Staff member in the morning told me they’ve had professional pest control here last month. The hotel offered a 20% off for my next stay. And they’ll do another thorough pest treatment. I’ve spent half a night inspecting the room after eliminating that one bug. I haven’t found more bugs or any eggs. It’s not going to deter me for another stay in the future.

We had a fantastic overnight stay! Staff were warm, friendly, and super responsive—even with our last-minute booking. We arrived 15 minutes later and were kindly upgraded—thank you so much! The room was spotless, private, and well-equipped with a spa bath, kitchenette, and comfy bed.

Our only critique this is across most motel stays - not enough milk and beverages for two people, we had none for the morning,, an extra towel & blanket would of been nice as well, we made do, luckily the room had a heat pump!!

Nice room, nice facilities. The cleaning lady was super nice and we had a great stay. Convenient parking and great kitchenette and rooms. The spa bath in the bathroom was definitely lovely! Easy to check in and out too.

The kettle needs replacing as it was old. Only 2 glass cups in the kitchenette (we had a family room) and the coffee cups were too small for my liking.

The receptionist was lovely and inviting. The room was exceptionally clean, loved the big spa bath after a very long day of driving. Had a fantastic sleep in a very comfortable bed. What a perfect location for a stop from being up North before heading back through Auckland the following day. Absolutely highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy overnight stop. Easy to find and very easy parking.

Easy walking distance to main town centre. Beachfront location. Good parking. Really comfy beds. All facilities available that was needed for an enjoyable stay, laundry room and the bonus of hotel accessed Netflix. Lovely outside seating area. Staff very friendly and approachable helped me to use the washer.

Everything was excellent. I do have personal disliking to bathrooms that don’t have locks.

Large Unit, great layout, modern, clean, everything you could think of provided and even labelled so easy to find.

We picked probably the worst located Unit, next to busy entrance, facing carpark and noisy stairs. . Next time we will choose upstairs or round the side! Quality of unit made up for it though. Would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent! so close to the beautiful beach and close to the main township. Presentation in the room was neat and inviting. The patio area was spacious and private and the trees around the patio area made you feel like you were on a tropical island. The guy at the reception desk was friendly and very helpful when we needed help, welcoming and informative.

The cleanliness could have been better in the bathroom. Stained toilet and the grout around the tub. A little rust in the microwave. Was expecting the spa bath to be next to a window as it was pictured in the photos on the listing but that was not the case. It is Winter time so we had to pull out the spare blankets from the cupboard and those did not feel clean, seemed like they were just sprayed with something and it had a wax coating on the blankets.

Loved the staff who checked us in, was polite and helpful, great service! Loved the distance from the beach for morning or evening strolls, the room set up was lovely and the spa bath was enjoyable. Perfect to just sick back and relax. If we need to be in the area again will definitely book again.

The spa bath not being cleaned properly, as there were previous stayers hair that was falling down from the blowers, so I had to wash and wrinse it out again before we used it.

We arrived quite late - and i really loved the check in process, a simple text with the room number and door code! Super easy to find and parking is great. Very comfortable and clean beds, excellent pillows. Lots of space to enjoy the lounge and facilities Very highly rated!
