Although the rooms were not big, the place had everything I needed: electric stove, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Iron and ironing board The AC heater worked well and the room was warm. Great location - the mall and supermarkets are 3-5 min away by car. Secure guest only parking and building access.

No good channels to watch. Just few local satellite channels. Couldn't connect our own hard drive. The lounge sofa upholstery could do with a good clean. Strange thin duvet on the bed wrapped in 2 flat sheets. Why not just use a duvet cover.. Big wardrobe but no shelves to organise our clothes. No water glasses in the kitchen. Just mugs.

Good spacious room which included a washing machine & dryer. Excellent bathroom and shower. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Both Sonia and Terry were super helpful.

The room had a dishwasher, which was a bit surplus to requirements. We would have preferred that space to be used for a cooker. Bit too late to change now I suspect. Maybe having a medium sized airfryer in the room would cover the lack of an oven.

The location is great for me. Staff were great they let me check in earlier then I said as I was going to be in a meeting all day and wouldn’t make back in time to check in.

When I went to the toilet and flush it, it wouldn’t stop running and because no one man the property after 7pm I could not report it and I left early in the morning. This is the first time this has happened.

Great location, stunning rainforest views. We were there for a tennis tournament in Albany and it was the perfect location for that. Apartment had everything we needed for our stay plus close to restaurants and only a short drive to the supermarket.

A side table in the corner between the two sofas would be handy!

10-12 minutes walk to the North Harbour Stadium. Washing machine and dryer to do our laundry during our stay. The fridge & freezer was bigger than the small bar fridges that you usually get in hotels. Which was really handy because we could fit a bag of ice in the freezer for our chilly bin and more than enough space to store our food in. Also liked that the microwave has a grill function to cook pies etc.

The bed was firm and we only had 1 pillow each that was flat so wasn't a very comfortable sleep.

The welcome at reception when we arrived was fantastic. The room was really clean and everything was there.

There wasn't anything to dislike, really.....but something I should of thought of on arrival, but didn't mention to Reception, was that as there was 2 of us staying, maybe a second entry card should have been issued to get into the room, as each time one of us went out and took the card, all the power and appliances switched off.

The room was spacious. Shower is amazing. It was close to where we needed to be, alot of choices nearby for dining etc. Having a washing machine & dryer was a luxury.

We booked for a large family and had to get 2 units, it would have been good if we could've been placed right next door to each other. Parking is a mission, but lucky it was easter weekend and the uni was closed, so we had a few spaces to choose from.

I like to use Quests when I am in New Zealand because I can rely on the quality of the service and accommodation. I was not disappointed this time. There was a problem with parking which the staff resolved really well.

This is not the fault of Quest Albany in any way, but parking is a drama in many parts of Auckland these days -- that said, the staff did do their level best to make it as pain-free as possible for us. Make sure you read the "Important Information" and book parking beforehand. If you are new to Auckland, be prepared for parking to be a regular cause of stress, with a very wide variety of restrictions on parking in different parts of the city. Even locals aren't always quite clear on legal parking.

Great fresh room, friendly staff, and great location for the stadium where we were going.

The weird scam messages that came through the booking site. No fault of the hotel. The hotel contacted us to let us know not to answer and that everything was in order. Please booking.com fix this! thanks!
