We stayed in ground unit 5. The bed & pillows were of 5 star motel standard. Extremely comfortable. The towels were thick, fluffy & white. Great TV & channels. The unit was very clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk sachets available in the communal kitchen to help yourself. The unit had everything you could want. Very happy.

The laundry needs to open longer than 9am-6.30pm & should be free, considering the cost of the room. The hours of 7am - 8.30pm would suit tourists better, giving us time before we venture off for the day & upon returning at night, to do our laundry. The outside of the units & the laundry floor, needs a deep clean with a blower. Lots of feathers etc. A little further to walk to beach, than I thought. The unit was a little overpriced. Cr card fee should have been included in the room cost.

Location is great. Handy to event fimda stadium amd walking distance to supermarket and mall. Rooms are spacious, bathroom tidy enough. Pillows are my fav part, huge new TV. Our 3rd stay here. A different room this time and the small kitchen sink area was not my fav. Fine for 1 night but no more than that.

The room we had this time had 1 sink in the kitchen. No real workable space. Fine for an overnight quick stay. Annoying for any longer.

Quiet at night.. Easy to find. Great location...walk to supermarket, walk to nearby food outlets. Basic kitchenette. Good shower. Quite small kitchen, bathroom area but adequate for our one night stay. Very comfortable...and huge... bed BUT....all 4 pillows were very high loft and very firm so we both had sore necks in the morning and a very restless night trying to get our heads in a comfortable position.

As above.....the pillows. I did suggest to reception the next morning when we left, that they could have 2 high loft and 2 low to medium loft pillows in each unit... to suit all requirements. It was a pity because the bed was extremely comfortable and if we had had alternative pillow options, we would have had a great night's sleep.

Very convenient to Takapuna, we were visiting family, and wanted independence as well… Location 10-10, Friendly staff 👍

No wardrobe for clothes, couple of coat hangers in the hot water cylinder unit area… we’d stayed for a week and wife was disappointed with this, me as well to be honest. They could lose one of the furniture units and replace with the wardrobe. Had to get soap and shampoos, from the main room where housekeeping staff keep it…

It had the comforts of home, beds and pillows super comfy. A good size unit with desk, smart TV, aircon/heat pump. Kitchenette & Bathroom well stocked. I was super happy to find a disposable comb/brush combo in the vanity unit as I had forgot my brush. Staff members very friendly and accommodating as I needed a late checkout and invoice emailed to me.

Room and bathroom were very clean which I like, I travel a lot. The gentleman on the counter was so helpful on my arrival (very early). Excellent central Takapuna location. Easy walk to shops/mall/beach/restaurants and bars.

It's just a bit of a tired site. There's a lot of wear and tear, could do with a little investment, but this is minor as the general upkeep was great.

A comfortable and clean room with very comfy bed. Good facilities and well equipped, fit for purpose.

The room upstairs above us you could hear someone running around, it did stop when the child went to bed but in future it would be a good idea to put families on the ground floor and couples above so this doesn't happen moving forward. This was a shame.

Easy to get to the Takapuna beach, bars and restaurants. Local transport was easy to use to get around. The accommodation was ideal for myself and my partner. Very comfortable bed, Great TV package. Very friendly staff.

We were a disappointed with the wardrobe size and only having 4 clothes hangers but it was easy to get some more from the staff. Plenty of storage spaces in the bedroom so we managed just fine in the end.

Warm cozy, had all the amenities, plenty of milk for hot drinks, soaps and hairdryer, all round, we enjoyed or stay very happy Only 5 min walk to the concert we felt safe walking up the street at night, nice quiet room we slept well

Shower was hard to control fine line between hot and very cold water

The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen just what I need. The bathroom was clean and we had clean towel every day. Wifi was working very well. Great choice on TV.

The door of the room, the locker is small and not adapted. The glass a long one side of the room near the sidewalk... curtains help to keep privacy but steel can hear outside noise...
