The staff were nice, professional and helpful and our room was really nice and clean. The views from our room were amazing!

The only 2 things that stopped the stay from being perfect was that there was only 1 coffee pod supplied for the coffee machine and that maybe when making the bed someone forgot to put the mattress connector back on. The gap between the 2 mattresses was quite obvious and meant that sleeping on opposite sides was a must - maybe that was the plan ?😊 but in our case we wanted to snuggle and couldn’t.

Nice view, decent lap pool, jacuzzi, decent gym, coffee shops and restaurants on the same block, helpful pleasant staff. very close to central Takapuna. Nice bed, able to make rooms very dark for sleeping, wall to ceiling windows, nice small apt sized rooms with kitchen and washer/dryer.

Elevators smelled, place looks modern on the outside but the rooms and hallways feel dated. Balconies are very skinny and scary in the high winds.

My daughter and I came here for a nearby dance competition. Beautiful, tidy rooms, and we had an amazing view from our room! The staff were great, from helping my daughter connect to wifi on her phone, to bringing up extra blankets when requested. I felt it was great value for money.

The only downside was the wifi - the modem couldn't be plugged in properly due to its location.

Beautiful views over Auckland Harbour to city ad of lake Takapuna. Comfy bed, handy to everything shops beach, cafes bars etc helpful staff

Kitchen was a little scarce if large bowls etc not as well equipped as others we stay in for same price, we froze on the first night as air con was on cold setting for a chilly night. This was sorted next day. We only got one toilet roll at a time and had to ask for more

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quieter part of Auckland. Great cafes nearby beatiful beach not too far away and every needed convienience nearby, many shops including shopping mall. Spacious rooms, fantastic view, pool if needed.

Rooms could do with a lityle more dusting

The view from our room was exceptional. We were able to see Rangitoto Island and across Takapuna Bay as well as back to the city. We saw some incredible sunrises. The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent and we easily walked to dinner down in Takapuna township both nights. Loved the lap pool.

If you are going to provide a full kitchen with oven it would be great to have some oven proof cookware. Also a dishcloth to do dishes and wipe benches? We enjoyed the lap pool very much but the spa was at first too hot on the first day and then not hot enough the following day. Also the spa was too deep for me to sit comfortably on the seat and have my head above water. As the hotel is most accessible by car it is unfortunate that parking is so expensive.

I didn't realise how luxurious my suite was going to be. The kitchen (which I barely used) was better appointed than the one at home! The range of TV channels was much better than the usual Sky service in hotels. Even more impressive was the perfectly framed view of Rangitoto through the picture window in the lounge. It was also a short distance from Takapuna Beach and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.

The bathroom was fine and well appointed but has possibly seen better days (a couple of broken tiles, for example). But that is a quibble. I also have a standard gripe involving too few powerpoints (none in the bedroom, for instance).

Amazing view of harbour and Sky Tower. Quiet and comfortable. Great to have a kitchenette with toaster, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Very convenient to shops and beach Good in house parking.

A little bit dated furniture but hallways have been refreshed.

The check in process was very painful. For some reason I couldn’t pay for my room when I checked in, I had to do a deposit which I was told was $100 but then was charged $385 which was $100 more than what the room should have been. If I had been traveling overseas and this happened I would have been very wary that something dodgy was happening.

Find the additional car parking fee quite expensive The breakfast options available used to be much better than they are now
